The long time part owner who ran this restaurant sold out some time ago. The food is essentially the same, but virtually the entire long-time staff has left. Been going there since it opened so more of a case of not seeing staff that greeted me by name. Seems to have more of a staff turnover than expected. . Men's... More

Pizza and subs by day. By night, a full-scale Italian feast awaits. I've never had a bad meal. Veal dishes are very good, as are scallops when they're in season.

Always love their pizza, great greeting when you walk in the door you always feel welcome. Casual in the front for a quick pizza by the slice or take out, nice in the back for more formal dining. I will return again and again.

We were on a short get away and found the restaurants menu at the B&B where we were staying. The fettuccini Alfredo was probably the best I had ever had. There was more than enough for 2 meals. Very good!

Bad! We should have followed our instinct and turned around when we walked through the door. The dining room was not clean. The food was not fresh. The meat and cheese on our "anti-pasta" salad was processed lunch meat and cheese. Should have gotten a sandwich from Subway across the street. Would have been more fresh, cost less, and tasted... Great, straightforward Italian food. I've been coming here since I was a kid and I'd rather eat here than any of those tourist trap restaurants at Foxwoods.

BYOB for now, went next door and picked up a bottle of wine. Had their special of stuffed shrimp and asked for olive oil and garlic angel hair as the side. Wonderful service and a nice little neighborhood pizza place that can surprise you with some very nice Italian Food.

Valentino's has been a Ledyard staple for many years. The restaurant is a pizza and grinder take out in front with a dining room in back that features Italian entrees. While the dining room food has always been a bit ordinary, the pizza and grinders were always great. Now it seems that the restaurant is under new ownership/management and while... More
