This little shop is a must-stop if you are in the area. On premise baked goods & deli items which include flaky delicious strudels, an impressive variety of cheeses & pates and gourmet meats. In the grocery section there are accompaniments like crackers, biscuits, jellies & relishes. The homemade soups are delicious. The buttery baking smells as you walk through... More

The breads are wonderful, pastry not oversweet, fresh and always perfect for serving yourself or company. The cold cuts,... More

Wilma Joas continues her family tradition of great baked goods. Her buttery palmiers and croissants, and all manner of strudels, are just wonderful. In addition, the shop features a fine selection of cheeses and sausages from Schaller and Weber in NY. Homemade pretzels on weekends add to the German fare.

We are never unhappy with a purchase from this shop. I especially enjoy their fruit pies, but they have other great specialties.

This is our goto shop whenever my wife entertains in the German style. It is almost an hour ride for us but worth it. If you want brotchen on the weekend, be sure to call in your order early as they go quickly. This is also the place to put together your picnic lunch if you are going wine tasting.... More

This is my second visit here when traveling through. I must say this place has improved on its products and customer service sine I was last there in 2012. They knowledgeable help this time made it a wonderful experience. I purchased some cheese and a loaf of sauerkraut bread this time and can't stop thinking how delicious it all was.... More

This shop has all kinds of European goodies, great coffee, and a lovely bakery. We went there on a whim when Patty's had a line out the door and were glad we did. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and the cookies and croissants were outstanding!
