We have been to the Boathouse since the weekend it opened in 2010. We are locals who come here often. Last night our group of seven was told 25-30 min wait. No problem. We love the bar. Hostess was not welcoming at all. She simply said 25-30 min wait. After 45 min and seeing many available tables and after she... More

This was a wonderful meal after a movie. It was relaxed and laid back atmosphere. The wings were spectacular, parmesan peppercorn, and the roasted Brussel sprouts were phenomenal. We also has the sandwiches and Caesar salads. Drinks arrived quickly and the waitstaff was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Yes Forester Jeff is back on the road checking out restaurants instead of trees. Today along with my wife we visited the Mystic Boathouse Restaurant! The Boathouse has something for everyone from seafood to steak or hamburgers. We started off with an appetiser of roasted brussel sprouts covered with cheese! What a delight! The fish and chips was very good.... More

Convenient to the hotel where we were staying. Great bread, good chowder, but my scallops were so overcooked, they could have bounced.

Had a good dinner here. Ordered a salad with salmon. Came with delicious yeast rolls, too. Quiet. Clean. Would come back.

Very helpful staff. This is a typical American diner. Food and drink was of a good quality. Served our needs as somewhere close to the hotel to eat

Hi I ate there last night and I was shown the menu. I think it is better for lunch or small plate for late night. They have dinner type tables for their booths. Nautical/New England decor. I had the coconut shrimp- looked like they were frozen very little taste and a weird dipping sauce. I had the Cod dish- came... More
