What a pleasant surprise to our college tour.Even in November with limited selections there was plenty to chose from and the portions were good sized for the value!

As it always has the Dairy Bar has fantastic ice cream served in generous portions in a huge variety of flavors in a multitude of service options at more than fair prices; the only place with higher butter fat content gourmet ice cream is WE LIK IT in Pomfret, CT where the variety is less and portions are smaller but... Where else can you get ice cream and eat it in sight of the cows that produced the milk? We usually get ours and go right back outside and walk the fields where the cows graze and the beautiful UCONN campus is in sight. Creamy rich texture that always tastes fresh!

Ice cream the way it should be! Creative floors with a rich creamy taste. Nothing like most of the junk available at supermarkets that are more additives than cream. You won't be disappointed! The dairy bar also has a refrigerated area where eggs and a few other items are sold.

My friends and I tried the cinnamon-caramel, coconut, pumpkin, & banana-choc.chip. All were delicious. The peanut butter topping is great. A great place to stop on a Fall Sunday.🎃

My wife and I have not been back here in 40 years, but it was worth the wait!!!! The ice cream is home-made and REALLY delicious. The portion sizes are huge and are an incredible value compared to typical franchise operations. If you are ever NEAR Storrs, you really have to stop by for the joyous experience.

They have great homemade ice cream with many great flavors. When construction is not happening there is plenty of room for kids to run around. They also make great ice cream sandwiches.
