Get a taste of local culture at Marty's. Local internet cafe in the heart of quaint Washington Depot. Delicious array of baked goods. Yummy breakfast & lunch menu selections. Hang out as long as you'd like. The servers are friendly & accommodating. Comfortable seating. Beware weekend crowds. This place is the 'it' spot in town.

We happened into this place after a long walk at Steep Rock and we were so glad we found it. It's charming inside and has really good food, at very reasonable prices. Great sandwiches and salads and various coffee drinks, and papers to read to loll away the hours. A definite find.

Marty's is a popular cafe with locals and visitors alike. You can go for coffee and pastries or a good lunch. There are papers to read as well as wi-fi. Service is welcoming and efficient and greet many patrons by name.

My father and I arrived at Marty's at about 1:30 pm on a Friday afternoon for some lunch. We were completely ignored for the first ten minutes. If I had been alone, I would have walked out. We ordered coffee first. It took another 10 minutes to get the coffee which was, at best, room temperature. My father ordered Tomato... More

You would think in a little town, people would be welcoming, but in this restaurant, nothing could be farther from the truth. As for the food, only had soup, but it was average at best. In looking at many of the other reviews, it appears that we are not alone in our unfriendly experience. I would recommend skipping this place... More

While taking a break from shopping and browsing the Depot, my daughter and I stopped @ Marty's for some lunch. From the moment we entered the vibe was awkward .Everyone behind the counter was engaged in their own conversation and the waiter/manager was busy speaking to other tables near the entrance. No one even pretended to be interested in taking... More

What a nice place! Upscale stylish cafe offering breakfast and lunch with great food, free wifi and wholesome, intelligent cooking conducive to lingering with the New York Times, a laptop or friends. They serve Pelligrino water, steel cut oatmeal, green tea, scrambled eggs, wraps, salads, creative sandwiches with good bread, etc. You get the picture. Good pit stop for folks... More

I went to this coffee shop a number of times while in Litchfield County. It was so pleasant! Good lighting, good wifi, good food (great maybe) and beverages. Nice people. The only downside was that it closes early, like 5 or 6 pm. I didn't get around to trying the ice cream but it looked really good.

I stopped in here for coffee and breakfast while I was in town for the Gilmore Girls Fan Fest. It was very busy in there, but service was friendly and fast. The food was good and I really liked the atmosphere. I would love to stop by sometime when it isn't super crowded.
