Great cavatelli! Always use when I cannot get to Arthur Ave for fresh pasta. Meatball grinders are a must try.. homemade meatballs on a half loaf of fresh bread with mozzarella cheese delicious :) Cute store seeks great stuff if you need to make a basket.

Try the meatballs and sausage over homemade pasta. You won't be disappointed. My family hasn't for over 30 years.

Wait staff was great. Food was average at best . I had heard many good things about this place and was looking forward to a great meal. I had the ravioli and meatballs the others had the same. I think the food here is more of a side and the baskets are the priority. Sauce was on the bitter side... More

It is easy to see why The Grotto has been in business for over 75 years. The owners here Joe "Salty" and Bernadette take great pride in the food they serve, and the customers that keep coming back. You enter into what is seemingly a throw back groceria, that then leads to a quaint gift shoppe, that then leads to a charming room,of custom painted... I often come to buy sauce and meatballs and their home-style pasta. When I was a kid, the entire space was a restaurant. Now, about half the space is dedicated to their gift basket business and the restaurant isn't often crowded. It makes me a little sad because I remember when it was a bustling spot. Owned by the same... More

Delicious homemade Italian food and you can shop their specialty baskets while you wait. Great gift shop for that little something different. Small intimate tables without the hustle and bustle of a big open restaurant.

My Dad likes me to take him here for a Father's Day gift so this is at least an annual visit. I have been coming to the Grotto my whole life. It is a special Italian treat. The sauce is absolutely my favorite. I love their cheese ravioli with meatballs. Dad likes their version of lasagna which is basically a... More

I'm a type of person that does not like jarred sauces but the grotto makes there own sauce and it is great. No need for me to make my own. I just go to the Grotto and get a quart of their freshly made sauce and their fantastic meatballs.

Their meatballs and sauce are the best I ever tasted! A small but quaint restaurant. There is a great gift shop and they also make the best customized baskets. Take out available. They also have great home made raviolis and cavatellis
