Meal was lovely. We stayed here for a few nights with our dog. I kept the lamb shoulder as my last meal. Highly recommend that and the steak and ale pie. Great beer too

We had booked in as a convenient place to break a journey from Lochaber to Hampshire - an excellent dog friendly spot with great food, a nice spread of real ales and staff that couldn't be more helpful and friendly, not to mention the landlord and landlady who really get to know their customers. One of those places you arrive... More

A stones throw from the M6 making this an ideal place for us to stop on a trip up to the far north of Scotland. Clean room with space for our dog cage. Excellent meat pie for dinner.

Yet again another lovely meal. The food is home cooked and proper pub food. This place is just how a pub should be, a friendly welcome, wonderful food and dog friendly.

I Was biking with a friend around these places with very little villages. We were looking for a place to have lunch and we discovered this place with a nice owner and good meals. A mention for the fantastic Cumbria Ale, it's worth a try.
