We often go in the off season to avoid the crowds and to also take advantage of the winter specials. Seasonal ravioli and chicken parmigiana are two of our favorite nights. The quality of the food is always exceptional and the menu is surprisingly large. Also, the deli part of the business offers some delicious and interesting items to go.

The food is excellent. Very authentic Italian and delicious!.The place is small with great atmosphere. There is a take out deli case in the restaurant with a variety of great food and authentic deserts.

The ambiance of the restaurant is what drew us in. The eggplant rollatini wasn't hot when we received it but did taste good. The entrees were eh. Sauce is definitely different from what we're used to has a strange flavor. We were definitely not impressed and wouldn't eat here again.

Hi Amber from Carmel - Thank you for taking the time to write in of your experience and I'm sorry we didn't hit your expectations. But, I have to say to you the same thing I say to anyone visiting a fine, specialty restaurant - if you don't like something or it's not what you expected, speak up - ask... More

We grew up next to "Little Italy" in Baltimore and are real fans of Italian cooking - this place blew us away with their delicious food. More authentic Italian than anyplace we've been. Have tried their other restaurants (the one in Rehoboth and the one in Ocean City) but Lewes is our favorite. They win me over when I walk... More

The best spot in Lewes! Pizza, pasta, sandwiches, deli, desserts and antipasti. Eat in or take it to go. My favorite place in my town other than homemade food!

Found the outside of the restaurant a little dirty, but inside was clean. Went right to the counter and placed my order. The sandwich had fresh meats and cheeses. My only complaint was the roll was too hard and made total enjoyment difficult.

I've purchased carry out meals several times from Touch of Italy but never dined in. The reviews are mostly positive, but for an area that has no real competing Italian food it's not surprising. This place would never make it in Philly or New York let alone Italy and I lived there for several years and traveled from Torino to... More

Touch of italy is one of my favorite places in Lewes. I have had many things on their menu and nothing has ever been below average. Their pizza is great and their pasta is amazing. Also a big fan of their sandwiches that have premium meats and cheeses. Also can't forget the great staff working there. Keep up the good... More

Pizza was okay, nothing special. Crispy, light but lacking cheese and sauce was bland. Desserts - overpriced and stale. Tried the cheesecake - very dry not a NY style like they say. COokies (rainbow and chocolate cream cheese), both were not moist more dried out. CReam Puff was very good. Service was very good. Limited, dark seating, even on a... More

Dear AJ - thank you for taking the time to write a review. I gotta say - really a lot easier when visiting a restaurant like ours, best to bring up any concerns while you are there. For example, it appears that you were expecting American style pizza, which is typically overloaded with sauce and cheese. I love American pizza,... More

Touch of Italy is a great, relaxed authentic Italian restaurant. The food is incredibly delicious, and ranges from traditional Italian appetizers to full dinners. The homemade pastas and sauces are consistently excellent--we've had the eggplant rollatini, chicken parm, and assorted pasta dishes and never been disappointed. The sandwiches are great as well. Good selection of wines to pair with the... More

Description
Touch of Italy was born out of two Italian family traditions that trace back to the late 1800's. These two families trace their roots to the beautiful Marche and Abruzzo regions in Central Italy, where one can find rich cultural traditions and recipes passed down from generation to generation. Touch of Italy first opened in the fall of 2010 in Lewes, Delaware and proudly runs five locations in Ocean City, Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, serving fresh items like handmade mozzarella cheese, pasta, pizza, cookies and crispy bread, as well as high quality imported items from Italy. Touch of Italy is proud to bring the Italian tradition to costal Delaware and Maryland, and pay tribute to our ancestors, who imparted to us a love of food and family.
