We were on the way to Chincoteague, VA for a vacation and we had dinner here. I tried the crab soup and it was delicious. There was so much crab meat in the thick creamy soup and my daughter and I enjoyed it. People working in this restaurant are all super nice which absolutely make everything taste even better.

First time at the Georgia House. Recommended by a friend. They do not take Reservations so we went early and arrived around 4 pm on a Saturday afternoon. No wait, not busy and great service throughout. We tried the meatloaf and BBQ ribs. Both were very flavorful and great choices. They also have nice desserts. I will try the peach... More

Quite near the Milford Museum (they liked it too), there are several of these in different cities such as Millsboro and Georgetown--but this was my first one. I had a 1/2 rack of ribs and an IBC Root Beer. The ribs were well cooked, tasty, and did fall off the bone--and mostly meat rather than fat. I also got nicely... More

The Georgia House is a great [lace in downtown Milford to go when attending a play. Dinner and a very short walk to the community theatre. The food is very good as are the prices. Nothing fancy but good service. Try the retzel salad.

Had lunch with colleagues. A very charming restaurant with a "downhome" type menu. Not a ton of gluten free options. I had the cream of crab soup and a half salad- both were super yummy. Service was awesome!! Would definitely go back!

I had an image in my head, based on a preconceived notion of a geriatric, tapioca-loving clientele. Not true! While there are some old-style comfort foods available, there are more versatile options to please many different tastes. Accommodating wait staff, vintage setting - hit all the right notes. Def on our rotation!

Great place to meet a friend for lunch or have dinner with your husband. Love the sweet potatoe casserole.

Nothing special here. Place is clean and service is friendly. Crab soup was nice but waitress didn't know what "sherry" is when I asked for some for the soup. The food is basic and the menu is limited.

We are visiting friends in Kissimmee Fl and people at dinner told us when they come to Milford they love to eat at Georgia House. That is where they want to go for dinner every time they come to visit their friends..

Well... since Burgers & Beans took an exit from the dining industry in this drive-thru happy town, Georgia House has now claimed the dining throne! Now that isn't saying much for this tired little town, however, Georgia House has a great menu, great staff and the food is fantastic! From the Crab soup (Amazing) to the burgers etc... nothing taste... More
