My husband and I shared the oyster sampler. Thoroughly enjoyed the plump oysters from the US and Canada. I had the grouper which was very good and my husband had the bouillabaisse which he said was one of the best he ever had (the other being on our trip to Oregon). Our server was friendly and very attentive. A very... More

One street over from the main stree, a good place to get a bit during off hours. We showed up at 4pm and we're still served the lunch menu. Food ok would not rush back

Went here for lunch after a snowstorm. Most guests were in the bar, we sat in at a table. I had an oyster, very fresh, presentation and condiments really good. Plus a side salad and fried clams. Salad was fresh but clams a bit tough. MDW had striper sandwich. Cooked just right and fresh but a bit salty.

Food good but not as great as expected with it being top of list for #1 restaurant! Servers were good and nice atmosphere except for being very cold in there. Staff seemed to be trying to get the heat on more. I got rockfish sand. And liked it but again , not great at all. Not anything i would send... More

Located in downtown Rebobeth Beach, this restaurant is a gem. Open all year and easy walking distance from the beach, the Oyster House is a welcoming and warm spot to try out their varied assortment of seafood and appetizers. Their oyster selection is (of course) exceptional, and I would particularly recommend the bouillabaisse if it is on the menu--a deliciously... More

This is a very good place to have drinks and a few appetizers. Very crowded happy hour. Service is exceptional and the beer is great. The food (aside from the raw bar) is just okay. We tried 4-5 different entrees - they were all fair to good, but nothing that would knock your socks off. I recommend the raw bar... More

Wow we popped into Henlopen City Oyster House late (9pm) for dinner at the bar and of course the seafood and cocktails were superb. Ron the master bartender greeted us as the restaurant was quiet. Our sea bass and fried oyster entrees were mouthwatering just like all of the delicious side dishes. No wonder it is #2 in RB. We... More

We had wine at the early happy hour 3-5 with great appetizers and stayed for dinner. A great selection. Every dish was well prepared and filling. We will go back often
