Stopped at this small roadside joint after seeing how many vehicles were stopped there. Not a bad place to eat, basic stick to your ribs fare. The Elvis memorabilia was pretty cool.

The place is cool. Lots of Elvis stuff on the wall. The people who work there are nice. The food, well not good. My wife and I felt cruddy all day after we ate u it. Not rushing to go back.

It's a joint...that people line up around the business...it's that good. Can't believe it took me so long to eat there. We had the 1 on 1 (one sausage link...hugh with 1 egg). A staple in this community.

My 2 son-in-laws, grandson, and I ALWAYS make this a stop on our way to the Lewes Polar Bear Plunge annually! Place opens at 4am and closes by 11am. Crowds vary depending on time. We usually get there between 9am and 10:30am and have walked right in with no wait sometimes or had to wait for 30 minutes or more... More

Helens is the best! When we have the time to drive down state to make it to helens for breakfast we do. The sausage of course is amazing but everything they offer really is great. Expect a line out the door if you go on a Saturday !

Awesome food but not a healthy choice. Is a good experience once or twice a year but not much more than that. It was a featured place on Food Channel a few years ago!

Parking at times can be a little challenging when it's busy. Many contractors inconsiderate of others just pull up and jump out blocking others. The place only takes cash. No cards. Limited hours to the mornings. Ok now forget all that because the sausage sandwiches are outstanding. It's worth the drive. Never had a bad sandwich or one that didn't... More

Helen's Sausage House has been a place to go in Delaware for years. The sausage, egg and cheese sandwich is second to none. Two big links of fresh cooked sausage on the sandwich make it hard to eat the whole thing... but you will just because it tastes so good. Also try the bacon egg and cheese, it's just as... More

Great for quick sandwich. Fast service at a good price. Love to stop here when running errands. Just at the edge of town.
