True southern hospitality. The prices are fair and the food is good. They fill your table worth Cole slaw biscuits and green onions. And that's before you order any food. The service is good as well

We had just flown in to TPA from CLE checked into our hotel and stumbled upon this little gem. Food was good we ordered "pick 3 " I think it was called I had fried catfish, shrimp, and scallops with a loaded baked potato. Portions more than adequate, seasoned just right and the price was good. A jar of scallions... More

We visited the catfish country on Dec. 27th. The thought the catfish was under cooked at the cold slaw seemed like it was not fresh.

I tried the Cajun Fried Catfish. The catfish was enjoyable but pretty standard: soft with a crispy breading but no Cajun flavor. The sides of Collard Greens and Cheese Grits were bland. The Collard Greens were even a little chalky.

Don't let the name fool you, their menu is quite extensive. Food is fresh and hot. Service is fast and friendly. Restaurant is clean. The fried haddock was delicious as were the biscuits, hush puppies and home made cole slaw. This is probably the best seafood restaurant in the Lake Wales, Bartow area. We will definitely be going back.

Was a little hesitant after reading some of the avg. & bad reviews, but this was a real enjoyable meal. The all you can eat coleslaw & biscuits were wonderful. Three of us had the cod filet, one blackened, one fried & one broiled and baked potato. All was good. The fourth member had the all you can eat catfish... More

My wife and i have eaten here a few times and really enjoy going. It's the first place we've seen that provides free coleslaw, and coleslaw that is made well and tastes good. The fish was terrific and we tried several of the dishes there. Everything was great about our many visits to this location.

Thank Bill C
