My wife and I arrived about 6 PM. We chose to seat ourselves out side in the patio area. Our server Chris took our drink order and proceeded to inform us of the daily special Cioppino (which my wife ordered). I ordered the Fisherman's Platter. Both dishes were excellent. The amount of food was huge. We ended up taking a... More

My wife and I came back to see Al and Chris for dinner, and it was terrific as always. Literally everything on the menu is good. I like the baked seafood casserole the best. I still have a hard time believing two of us could eat so well for thirty dollars. Until next time fellas.

My boyfriend and I went here for an early dinner, and could not have enjoyed our meal or dessert any more. The owner, Al, was so nice and friendly. The food was excellent, to say the least. We are already planning to have my boyfriend's birthday dinner here in a couple of weeks. Shrimp Margarita and Irish Cannoli are a... More

My hubby and I like to eat at non-chain restaurants, which Cape Coral has a lot of individually owned restaurants. Thanks to trip advisor we found The Moorings! To begin with, it's off the beaten path. The inside is unpretentious, but definitely a seafood place. All walls are covered with murals of sea life and sea creatures. You can sit... More

OMG, what a find. Everything we tried was excellent. Fried, grilled, didn't matter, it was all good. Gator bites awesome. Irish Cannoli with Amaretto was perfect dessert. Will return on next trip down.

This restaurant serves excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed our meal last Sunday 20th November 2016 and our waiter was brilliant and very friendly. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Met with relatives for dinner, had a time finding the place (not familiar with the area). After driving around awhile my wife spotted the "pink Cadillac" parked across from the restaurant. Went in to find our relatives already seated with their friend and no sooner than we were seated Al the owner came over and joined us and was so... More

A few lines to introduce myself. My name is Al Whelan, I am from Boston and worked at a famous "waterfront dive" known as Kelly's Landing. A seafood business in a Catholic community with lines down the street, literally. I worked there for five summers and enjoyed every minute of it. My first date with the counter girl (she couldn't resist a man in a paper hat), my first kiss, etc. One rule was demanded, cooking with clean oil! In those days it was lard! Today we use canola oil both on the grill side and on the fry side... Most of our dinners are on the grill side. Fish shrimp, scallops, steaks, ribs, chicken and pork round off our menu. Our Irish Connoli is like a little piece of heaven and our homemade bread pudding is to die for. Both topped off with sweet whipped cream. We've added a 6000 square foot patio surrounded by trees. A truly private and romantic spot. Also some added features such as, a basketball cage, beer pong table and corn hole court.
