We went to Steamers with a group of new friends. The atmosphere here is what you would expect of a dockside bar and restaurant on a weekend night. There was decent music and a loud environment. It seemed like they might be understaffed as service...More

We ate both a lunch and dinner here while in Cedar Key. It has a great view of the Gulf of Mexico and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was good.

This place is way off the beaten path. Setting on stilts that rise more than twenty feet above high tide. Locally harvested aquaculture, served the way travelers would be accustomed to anywhere along the gulf. The clams, ( "steamers") are offered in red or white...More

Great drink prices and specials with good service and awesome location and views. Clam strips excellent along with oysters on the half shell. Sandwiches tasty and good size. Stopped there twice in 5 days and enjoyed.

No it is not. Only stairs up to it, as is most of the places on Dock street. However, there are other places to eat in our lovely little town of Cedar Key.
