In a little strip center. Great breakfast place. The only food we have had that we did not enjoy was the high protein wrap. Why on earth did my wife order that? They move people fast but we never feel pushed. Another family operation with great food.

You've been to a place like this before - the food is good - the coffee is fine - the service is friendly - the price is right - now pay the bill, leave a tip, and get on with your day.

I really really miss places like this! Most of the original privately owned breakfast/lunch cafes in towns across the country have closed and are now mostly chains. This is exactly what I've been missing for years. I have driven by this cafe for 10+ years. We are regular seafood purchasers at the Cortez fish market who recently relocated to this... More

On your way to the beach, stop for a satisfying breakfast! Been here several times and you get your money's worth, omelettes, breakfast burrito or one of the daily specials. The kitchen gets your food out quick. Staff always filling your coffee cup or ice tea refills....no hunting for someone when you are thirsty. A great local place.

Excellent breakfast with excellent service. Plentiful burrito, enough to share. Hash browns were cooked perfectly, on the crispy side. Prices most reasonable. Aquatic painted metal artwork display is impressive and for sale. Well worth the visit to this 5 star family restaurant.

Our server Randi gave us wonderful service. Ordered crispy waffle, but came slightly warm, tasted and looked like frozen. Cold syrup and cold blueberries. Cortez Omelet and hash browns were were a "Yuge" portion and excellent.

Been by many times, always seemed busy. Decided to stop this time and found it to be well worth it. Good solid breakfast, reasonable price and good service. Friendly atmosphere and very accommodating. My spouse thought the eggs benedict was delicious with a generous portion of ham. The table next to us special ordered everything and it came through perfect.

What a warm & wonderful greeting when we walked in... It was our 1st time here... Everyone was hugging & either saying Hello to owner (who personally seats everyone) or when they were leaving.. The FOOD! the TASTE & portions were huge! Don't pass it up if you are in the area! While we were eating the owner checked to... More

Looking for a great breakfast or lunch diner. Check out the Cortez Cafe - you will not be disappointed. High portions of delicious homemade meals. Get there early on a Sunday to avoid standing in line for a seat. But if there is a line, it will be well worth the wait.
