My husband and I ordered omelets. He had the veggie omelet and I ordered the ham and cheese. He had toast. I had biscuits. They did not have butter but a spread. The jelly was an off brand. Thin but of course colored and sweet, but not tasty. There are always people waiting for a table but we can't figure... More

The service was outstanding as was the food too! We stopped here after our manatee tour and was pleasantly surprised by the speedy service and delicious food.

I wasn't expecting much going to Grannie's because I don't eat meat or diary products. The wait was a tad long for our group of six. Once we were seated, i asked a few questions and noticed the table was still dirty with coffee grounds and cup rings from condensation. My choices were limited to salad, sides and either home... We went to Grannies after church for breakfast. We hadn't been before and decided to wait to get in. It was very worth the wait. It is a traditional diner and all of the food is homemade. We had omelettes but roasted turkey and all the fixings was also on the menu. They actually roast the whole turkey and slice... More

After swimming with the Manatees, we stopped at "Grannie's" for a late breakfast. Typical diner food which is what we were going for. Unfortunately, after eating here, my gut was torn up for a couple days. That aside, food was just so-so.

After all the good reviews, we were disappointed. Long wait. Over cooked pancakes. Fake bacon that wasn't very good. Coffee had a weird taste that might have been due to the water. We'll be trying somewhere else.

We were a group of 26 from the Largo Community Center. We had come from our River Safaris Pontoon tour on the Homosassa River. They knew we were coming! They were very, very organized. We were served quickly and the food was enjoyable by all.

Thank lynninlargo
