We only drove 35 minutes to get here for our first visit. My family tried all the entrees. Prime Rib, Salmon an the classic turkey. Everything was cooked to perfection and served promptly. The giblet gravy was excellent. The sage dressing had unusual and enjoyable flavor, and the pecan crusted pumpkin pie was the perfect ending, as was the wonderful... More

She was quite charming and attentive. By the time we left, the restaurant was nearly full. We really enjoyed our salads with hot bacon... More

This review is a combined evaluation over two visits. The first visit was a special event, wife's birthday, with a large group... the second was a quiet dinner for two. The first visit we all had an item off the German menu, everything was delicious from the salad with hot bacon dressing to the fresh rolls and bread. The entrees... More

We had an early dinner before going to the theater. Menu offered a great selection as well as Summer Specials which we chose. Freshly baked rolls were delicious. Cucumber salad to start with, I had scallops with German sausage and my wife had trout. Both entrees came with a tasty German potato cake. We finished the meal with a cream... More

We had driven past Karlings Inn a few times but never really considered stopping because it is kind of away from everything else. On this occasion, we were headed to Deland in the early evening and decided to stop for dinner on our way home. When we arrived around 8pm, we were the only people there, so service wasn't an... The restaurant is billed as German and seafood. We chose the German food and loved it. We went early when it opened.
