We have been to Delray for years and had always meant to try Max's. This year we did. We came for Happy Hour at the back bar. It is technically outside, but under full cover. What this really means is that you are in a...More

Been here several times, this night was a miss. Brought my boyfriend and was raving about prior experiences & we wore both really disappointed. The service was good as usual, but the food was really off. We both had fish dishes & found them both...More

What a disappointment. Way too noisy, food so-so, service poor. We've been before and this was either an off day or it's gone downhill. It appears the draw is the unlimited drinks for $15 with brunch.

Ordered takeout. Upon arrival the overall appearance of the restaurant looked nice. However, while waiting to cash out I overheard the bar tender (the person cashing me out) telling a fellow guest “I had the flu last week, blew an eardrum and had to take...More

Every aspect excellent. Ate too much. We tried almost all of the appetizers and each one was delicious.

We had a good meal at MH overall and enjoyed the warmth of the gas flames outside on a cool night. Overall, the dishes were tasty: Brussels sprouts appetizer, diver scallops and the aged dry beef burger. Soggy French fries were a detractor from the...More

Visited Delray for a week and found this gem. The food was so good my partner and I ate there three times! All the food we had was sublime, the cauliflower tacos and empanadas as starters I can recommend. Main of spare ribs and relleno...More

We came for dinner on a cool evening and were offered a slot at the bar. We were treated to marvellous cocktails by their excellent barman including the best Negroni I`ve ever had. Our food was excellent ranging from the ribs to the gnocchi. Service...More

Small party went for brunch. Bare bones menu with 2 items not available. Bottomless drinks were enticing until bar had no horseradish or Worcestershire sauce! What’s the point of a Bloody Mary without those key ingredients? Had fish tacos. Asked for blackened but the restaurant...More

We had recently moved to Delray Beach and were trying local establishments when a friend made reservations at Max's - WOW! This quaint, thoughtful restaurant knows how to put it all together. From the fresh local dishes to the wine pairings. Everything was amazing. Might...More

I would definitely call the restaurant directly. If they can accommodate you, request Matt G. as your server.

As I remember, lunch was only on weekends, brunch from 10-2, reservations essential. I remember there being lots of vegetables on the menu, plus they have the ability to adapt. It is a very creative menu, the donuts for... More
