Went here while visiting our daughter. Everything we had was amazing. Service was perfect. Cannot wait to go back. Definitely go if you're in the area!

Had a reservation elsewhere, but was canceled due to water problem. Called Black Pearl at last minute and they were very accommodating. Dinner was superb, escargot appetizer was delicious. The short ribs in a black cherry reduction were very good. They have a good wine...More

Wonderful, fine dining experience for our honeymoon dinner! Chef was able to customize my menu choice for my gluten-free, dairy-free diet. It was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor! Highly recommend!

The Foie Gras says it all. The best I've ever tasted. There's a hint of sweetness, which I think was a little fig jam that made it out of this world. My wife loved her crab cakes. (I'm not a big fan of crab.) We...More

When it was Sabal's I went there often. Years ago the business was sold and it became The Black Pearl. I went a few times and it was outstanding and very expensive. After a 5 year lapse I returned with a friend. We will be...More

My husband and I were celebrating our 28th Wedding Anniversary, The restaurant was more cramped than I remembered it. We had spent our Anniversaries at this establishment for many years since moving to Florida in 2005. Apparently, it changed ownership three years ago, which coincidentally...More

Discovered the Black Pearl last year, so we had to go again this year, twice during our one week Dunedin visit. It's a very small cozy place with devine food. There are only two servers Zack and Ronald and two chefs in the kitchen Not...More

My husband and I went for dinner at this small, but elegant restaurant. No hard liquor is served, but the beer and wine options are extensive. The wait staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. The foie gras mousse was cleverly plated and very good, with the...More

Great menu with some different twists. Grouper was terrific. Beer and wine only, no full bar. Birthday dinner with adult family. Excellent.

At the Black Pearl Restaurant, creating a one of a kind dining experience is our goal, every dish from the warm ciabatta bread to the homemade vanilla bean ice cream is made in house, and to order especially for you. We believe life is too short to eat bad food.
