Grouper sandwich was excellent as we're the Gator bites. Took forever to get served then it was so so. No mixers for a cocktail...seriously?

This venue has a lot of historic interest and is why we chose to visit and have some lunch. The interiors have lots of 'game' trophies on the walls for both fishing and hunting enthusiasts. We sat on the back porch overlooking the waterway and...More

What a gem! We enjoyed the grouper sandwiches on the outside porch - take your time and take in the photos & stories on display throughout this place.

We traveled to Everglades City with friends just to visit the Rod & Gun Club. The interior of the building is impressive and worth walking around in. We were seated on the pouch for lunch. Very pretty with a good view of the water and...More

Visited Everglade City in January. Stopped at the famous Rod and Gun club for cocktails. Very nice waitress. She was an eighth generation resident. She was like a living history tour throughly enjoyed our visit.

Food is below par, service average, the gotcha was no price for the beverages until you get the final bill...then $6.95 for a soda. This is the antithesis of southern hospitality. Lesson learned- 1-11-2018

The Ritz-Carlton in Naples had recommended Rod and Gun Club to us a few years ago, and unfortunately, our plans didn't allow for a visit. We made sure to visit this time, on New Year's Day. Rod and Gun Club was established in 1864 and...More

I had their Grouper Special and my wife the Fish of the Day (Grouper) Both were good but, although not bad, slightly pricey for the amount and quality. Was definitely fresh. Now the bad part. The service was ok but I had to get my...More

Our waitresses were Tiffany and Star. They did a super job. Food was good. Three of us got steaks. One of the steaks was overcooked and not as good as the one which was actually cheaper. They offered to cook another or comp dessert. The...More

Give them a call at (239) 695-2101 to check current prices. Google them to see that not many are happy with their rooms, service, or prices anymore. A lot of history there and a nice location on the Baron River, but there... More
