We went on Saturday early evening and very glad we had reservations. Granted there was a Charles Dickens Festival going on but I think they are probably always crowded. Inside seating is limited and it was too cold to sit outside. The calamari was lightly...More

This is a MUST! One of the most enjoyable meals we have had in a long time. Service was exceptional (G), and just truly a memorable experience!!! Love this restaurant!

The vegetarian paella was out of this world. My husband ate the seafood marinera and loved it. The wines were special, the music was appropriate, the service was over the top. I love this place!

Whenever I’m in a Spanish restaurant I have to start the meal with one or two tapas; tapas, basically the Spanish take on appetizers or amuse bouche, don’t seem to have a clearly defined origin, though some of the popular stories suggest that they came...More

Do not have to go into a long-winded praise for Espana. Food was amazing, paired with wine from a carefully thought out list and coupled with straightforward amazing, personalized service made for a fantastic evening. Espana and its staff gets the idea that food service...More

A good choice for dinner. The sangria is excellent. We split the seafood paella, and split an appetizer and I had a salad. Perfect amount of food. Try to sit outside if possible. Nice ambience. Excellent.

This is definitely more of an upscale, fine dining experience, but worth the price. We had the seafood paella, and it was fantastic!

Description
The traditional flavors of Spain and Portugal are highlighted in all our dishes here in the heart of historic Fernandina Beach. Sip on homemade Sangria or enjoy a glass of wine from a list of hand picked selections (International and Californian). Choose from a menu of hot and cold tapas, "just caught" fish or meat entrees including the national dish of Spain, Paella. You can choose to dine in our cozy main dining room, bright enclosed patio dining room or lush garden dining area which is open generally Thursday - Sunday and weather permitting :) Chef Roberto is a second generation restaurateur, with over 28 years experience. He endeavors to make your evening a memorable one by bringing both his own family recipes, and inspiration from trips to Spain and Portugal for you to savor and enjoy. Family owned and operated since 2004. The Original on Amelia Island!
