Italia was a new server, yet she still new all about the menu and even suggested a special grouper and happy hour to us. We all had a great meal. We were greeted promptly and even got a sample of the smoked fish app. Everything was perfect to the T and next time we are in town I will be... More

High prices for the quality of food. Would not recommend scallops; dry and tough. Other dishes were just OK. Better fish elsewhere.

The Crab Trap is located in one of my favorite buildings in Fernandina Beach, and if you go upstairs, you can enjoy one of the only dining spots in town that offers a sunset view (over the Amelia River). The place is friendly and lively, and the food is okay. Our favorite is the Buffalo Shrimp. In fact, this was... More

While there was nothing to complain about, the food (grilled shrimp for me and grouper special for hubby) was nothing special. You were asked to pick from a list of sides, and I picked baked potato, while he picked fries. It would have been helpful if they informed you prior that the food came on a bed of yellow rice.... We ordered the Blue Crab Soup and Oyster Po-Boy sandwiches for a late afternoon lunch. The portion sizes were larger than expected, and the food was prepared and served to perfection.

The Crab trap is a bar that just happens to serve great local seafood. The blue crab soup is the best in the world, and a meal by itself. Gator tail, deep fried potatoes, and all seafood have a light batter that makes the Crab Trap a great choice. There are a lot of food choices on Amelia Island, put... More

We had to wait awhile but they were very busy and only had two wait staff to take care of the entire upstairs but the food was worth the wait. We all really enjoyed our lunch. Our waiter bent over backwards to make sure that one of our party was provided with a very tasty lunch even though she has... More
