Spent long weekend in Ft. Lauderdale with 2 other family members. We tried getting into Coconuts restaurant (next door) on a recommendation from concierge. Fortunately for us, they were full and waitlisted (at 5:00 in afternoon), so we went into G&B Oyster bar and sat at a high top. What a diamond! The ambiance was very cool...rustic, marine deco as... This is right beside Coconuts and they provide their menu at Coconuts. The only difference between the two is that G&B doesn't have the view like Coconuts.

I am a local and, hands down, this is a fantastic restaurant. Located on the water, G&B'a menu is a bit eclectic appealing to many palates. The Scoobies are a must!!--snow crab pinchers served with a garlic infused oil/butter marinade. There is a list of oysters to choose from...we get two of each one! Seating is first come first served... More

This is a great little spot close to the hotels by the beach. Very good tuna, friendly bar staff and a good location with FREE valet. Can't beat that! It helped me relax after a long day of travel.

We went here after a long meeting and had the best dinner. We are from out of town and came here based on reviews by Trip Advisor. We had something called scoobies, that were not on the menu. Delicious. It does get packed there so get there early. Seating is first come first serve.

We wanted to go to coconuts, which is attached to G&B, but the wait was too long. There is open seating here. The service was very good, although the wait staff seemed a little overworked. The frog legs were good, but nothing spectacular compared to others I've had. They had a variety of oysters from which to choose, and had... More

I ate here twice during my stay in Fort Lauderdale. For the first time I ate solo and it was pretty easy to get a spot at the bar (the best place to eat when solo). I started with a half dozen raw oysters from MA and NYC (3 each). That was a great start! When trying to decide what... More

Great raw bar that shares space with Coconuts. Located next door to the Swimming Hall of Fame where the A1A splits, G&B has an upscale bar menu but since they share the location with Coconuts, so ask your server if you can order off the Coconuts menu, but note, Coconuts is a little pricey. We were there at lunch time,... More

Great meal, freshest seafood. Started with the crab scoobies, delicious ceviche and crab empanadas. tuna crudo was outstanding. Will be back for oysters before we leave. Excellent service. Entire wait staff made sure we had a great meal.

This raw bar is attached to Coconuts. The food is delicious and they have 50% wine on Monday's and Tuesday's. You can come by car or by boat. Valet parking is complementary. They have special events like Oyster Fest, wine dinners, etc. There is also a full bar as well as wine.
