This places has seats outside and inside. We seated outside because inside was freezing. We ate lobsterolls. The lobster was fresh and plentiful, but too greasy.

We have been coming here for 15 years and love it! Be warned, this place gets crowded and they do not task reservations. We try to get there by 6:00 on a Saturday night to beat the rush. Decor is nothing fancy. Almost like an...More

The Rustic Inn never disappoints. Place is fabulous. Eat there every time I'm in town. I recommend the baked whole pompano. It's amazing. And you can't go wrong with any of their crab offerings. Old style crab house with the bibs and mallets. Lots of...More

A fun lively atmosphere with wonderful seafood. Excellent jumbo shrimp. And I don’t know how they make their potatoes taste so good! Stone crab was in season yum! The waiter was fun, the key lime sublime. Just go!

Arrived at 3 PM on a Sunday; our party of 5 was seated outside within 10 minutes. Conch fritters, steamed shrimp, oysters on the half-shell, fried shrimp, and crab legs - the food was definitely worth four stars, and the portions were large. That being...More

Fresh catch and fresher crab. Garlic crab is the house speciality and it is delicious. Invest the time and make it happen.

As the title says, seem like most all the food we got was good tasting, not outstanding but good. Portions were good as well, service was in par with everything else. Then we got the bill, seem a little excessive for the location. That's why...More

Our family and some friends went here with 5 young children in tow and I honestly didn't know what to expect. When we arrived the place was so packed that we had to wait outside for about 20 minutes to get a table, granted we...More

Pricy but good. Location right on the water. Rustic is good word for the ambiance. The sound of hammers cracking crabs abounds. It’s a favorite for one family member so we get there at least once or twice a year.

We were last there in November (2016) and had to drive around north of the restaurant to find the detour to the Rustic Inn Crabohouse. Fla Hwy Dept. did a terrible job of redirecting traffic to the restaurant, but we found... More

The original Rustic Inn Fort Lauderdale crabhouse began as a roadhouse saloon. As time went by, our hole-in-the-wall Ft Lauderdale crabhouse grew up, keeping with the demand for steamed crabs, seafood, linguini with homemade sauces and other popular dishes. Our World Famous Garlic Crabs are known the world over. We invite you and your family to see what the legend is all about. Enjoy waterfront dining on our dock or in our main dining room. Visit our cocktail lounge and enjoy one of our original frozen drinks.
