Six of us went Saturday 2/18. We arrived early- 5:30 or so since we'd heard that the line to get in could be long. No problem at that time even though we are in tourist season right now. We ordered the crab wedge salad to share among two of us. Not a lot of crab but it was ok. Two... More

This waterside crab house packs hundreds of patrons and numerous cars onto a small property, and that popularity speaks volumes. The Rustic Inn specializes in garlic crabs, and most are served that way. If you insist on Maryland Old Bay style crabs, your options are limited and you will miss out on a delicious alternative. The sampler included the blue... More

If you want to seriously overpay to eat in an old has-been place, then this is it. 25 years ago this was an OK place. As locals we waited 5 years to return with some neighbors just to see if things were improving. The experience was ridiculous. The food is simply second rate, unless you are a drunk tourist or... This restaurant is a famous landmark but does it deserve it's reputation. I live in South Florida and I don't get it how people will line and wait for this place for hours. The food is good and for lunch time, the price is great for what you get, but for dinner those great prices go by the wayside. Here's... More

The atmosphere & service are top notch. The portions were adequate to large but the fish was over cooked and just mediocre. The combo crab dish looked amazing.

First off: the entire area is under construction so it was dusty and hard to get to (which is not the restaurants fault but it definitely didn't help the atmosphere). Most of the dining areas were roped off and it didn't feel very welcoming. The Jupiter location is much nicer. Portion sizes were great and I got the broiled scallops... More

This is a good place for a large group! If loud folks enjoy food and fun is not you don't go! Service, food is good and fun! Visited 3 times. Twice for lunch and once for dinner. It was great each time. There is a bridge construction going on it make for a little work getting in the lot, however... More

We come here every year on the night before we cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale or Miami. The garlic crabs are the best I've ever had, and my wife can always find something on the menu since she's not a seafood eater. Bring your appetite and leave your Sunday best at home, because you can get covered it butter. A... More

The original Rustic Inn Fort Lauderdale crabhouse began as a roadhouse saloon. As time went by, our hole-in-the-wall Ft Lauderdale crabhouse grew up, keeping with the demand for steamed crabs, seafood, linguini with homemade sauces and other popular dishes.

Our World Famous Garlic Crabs are known the world over. We invite you and your family to see what the legend is all about. Enjoy waterfront dining on our dock or in our main dining room. Visit our cocktail lounge and enjoy one of our original frozen drinks.
