All I can say is come hungry for the best buffet breakfast you've ever had. They have everything from cereal, to cheeses, all sorts of fruit including mango, french toast, pancakes, eggs, crispy bacon, sausage and my favorite cook to order omelets that even had crab as one of the meat choices. Then you could sit out on their patio... More

we did the breakfast buffet one morning and had the luck of getting an outside table - which was so nice! Food was the usual breakfast buffet - nothing real fancy or creative. Wish there would have been a carving station or eggs Benedict or something more than just the omelet station - but we still left full. good spot... More

I get it....lots of people eat here, but service was definitely slow; one morning, we had to flag down a waitress just to get coffee. Food is average, but once you get the wait staff to warm up, they are lovely.

You can't beat the view and the convenience to staying at the Marriott, but don't come for the food. I had to send a few things back (which I rarely do) just because I just couldn't stomach muscling through... Service was good though, they were very helpful and accommodating. Again, like the Marriott itself, it has such potential. The menu... More

Unfortunately, my water glass had a large glob of food stuck inside which I noticed before the server poured water. He obviously did not pay attention to it and started to pour the water on top of it. My husband's knife did not look as though it had been through the dishwasher... smeared with maybe butter or something greasy. This... More

We enjoyed three dinners here during our week long stay nearby. Each was really good. The wait staff was also good. The restaurant looks over the hotel pool area and the water beyond. Very pretty. You can eat on the porch if you want but be aware that the setting sun goes down in your face! I had Drunken Grouper... More

We all had wonderful meals. The salads had tasty fresh ingredients, the fish was perfectly prepared and our waitress, Tayllor, was not only charming but patient, pleasant & efficient. We will definitely return!

After getting a drink and appetizer at Charley's Cabana, we walked over to Tarpon House for dinner. My wife requested "a warm spot" but we were seated by the window. We only just sat down when we decided not to stay. It was cold, pounding pop music was loud, and the place was nearly empty -- not the kind of... More
