We had the sangria which was amazing and the fish chunks with moro were superb. What I loved was that the Moro was the natural color and it wasn't full of that black dye most restaurants use.

I can still remember, twenty, thirty years ago when my parents visited the U.S. and wanted to go to Morro Castle for a Cuban Specialty called FRITAS. A VERY spicy hamburger with tinny, thin French-Fries under the bread. Delicious!!! NO MORE!!! The Fritas today are like old tasting meat, with lots and lots of Paprika. The restaurant is somewhat dilapidated,... More

This restaurant has long been a staple of my city Hialeah. For as long as in can remember the food quality has remained the same throughout. If you're in the mood for a meal only your Mami can make then this place is the spot. Great good and great prices. Stepping into this place takes you back in time because... More

First of all this is a cash-only establishment. So make sure you have cash on you when you go. Selective menu and they do have some daily specials. For me the best thing here is the Churros.

I went to Morro Castle with my girlfriend and I had their churro for the first time. It was delicious!! I had the traditional Cuban Sandwich and she had the Media Noche. The food is delicious but the service needs to improve. It's a popular spot so be prepared to wait to be seated.

I absolutely love eating at Morro Castle. However, my last visit was not the greatest. My waitress was named Reina and she barely even greeted us. It took half an hour to get my order correct, she just wouldn't listen. The best parts of Morro Castle are the food and an older lady who can be everyone abuela, she makes... More

I love Fritas here and the Criollita Steak with fries. Service is good and the prices are fair. The only downside is they only take cash.

This restaurant, and it's sister location in NW Miami have been a staple of Cuban exile. Unfortunately, the quality, the service, and the property in general seem to be in a free fall. I took my Dad to the W. Hialeah location this past week. The floor underneath our table was dirty, we both visited the bathrooms and found them... More
