Lunch was delicious. A very nice variety of choices, not your usual "down home specials". A delightfully impressive wine list as well. I recommend eating on the porch.

McLeods offers a good, quality dinner. Food was very good and the staff was very friendly. Location is in a quaint older home.

I met friends here who were visiting family in Crystal River. I was expecting small town comfort food with a mediocre wine list. McLeod House Bistro provided an upscale atmosphere and a very nice menu and wine list. Our friends are a very talented chef and restaurant manager and world travelers. They enjoyed it as well and were planning to... More

What an outrageously good meal! Crab cake appetizers, excellent, my husband had stuffed clams and said they were the best he ever had. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and potatoe pancakes for dinner, instead of rice, and both the Seabass and pancakes were outstanding! Cooked to perfection! Hubby had Grouper and said it was excellent too. Dessert, OMG...the Creme... More

I have eaten at McLeod House and Bistro at least 5 times for lunch. I love the building and reading about the family that lived there. I recommend the soup of the day you know that it is homemade from the first taste and don't skip dessert the Key lime pie is to good to share. The staff welcome you... More

Three of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner Saturday night. Every entree was wonderful. We enjoyed shrimp with pasta, Chilean bass and filet mignon. The trilogy appetizer was a light start to the meal. we shared the piña colada bread pudding to top off the dinner. our server is a descendent of the original home's owner and did a nice job.... We frequent the McLeod House at least twice a month. The outside patio is a wonderful place to have a nice relaxing lunch. It is a restored old house with a lot of charm. The food is amazing. Don't forget to try the Pina Colada brad pudding. It is to die for. Forget your diet at the McLeod House!!!!! Not... More

We had a wonderful meal and service was great. They made our anniversary special, starting with personalized menus. Our server recommended the "Seafood Trinity" and it was an excellent choice...every bite was delicious! Even the keyboard player knew it was our anniversary and played appropriate selections. The only thing the lighting was a little too low.
