Friendly place with large portions and great salsa. Cheese dip is excellent and the chips are fresh. Margaritas are large with a good amount of tequila. Inexpensive and fast service.

The food is always good. Sometimes better than others. The service fast and the food hot. Their daily special is usually a good value. It is not gourmet, but consistently good. The inside clean.

When we're in the mood for a quick and tasty Mexican meal, Potro is our place. The bar and dining room are strictly no-frills, but when the food is hot and tasty I'm happy. Fast and efficient, with all the tasty standards. My husband swears by the chorizo tacos. I always head right for pollo loco. Cheap beer and margaritas... More

If you like tex-mex you will love this place. The guac is awesome and the wait staff is very attentive. It is my go to Mexican place at the beach. There is more than enough food in each plate - really to much - and a large menu. The salsa is spicy but not inedible. I frequently meet friends here... More

We always make it a point to eat here atleast once when we're in the area. The food is very good, it's reasonable and it's always served with a smile. Don't miss their lunch specials......the ribeye is a bargain and will make you want to come back for dinner when they serve a larger version.

My boyfriend and I visited here while staying in a nearby hotel. I saw an ad for this restaurant in the hotel's binder and since I love Mexican food, I thought "Why not?!". Overall, the service was average at best. We visited on a Sunday night around 8pm and the place was pretty empty - perhaps only 2 or 3... More

We haven't been here for years but thought we would give it a try again. My food was great, shrimp quesadilla. My husband had a steak, which was not so great. The service was very good and the margaritas were average.
