Great stop on the way to the Keys. This is a dive bar with live music, ice cold beer and the best conch fritters around. No reason not to stop.

First of all if you do not like dive bars do not even bother stopping . You are not going to find fine dining either. What you will find is a mix of people from all walks of life. A few years ago while my wife and I were there The Outlaws motorcycle club came in while we were there.... More

I went to Alabama jacks when it was a boat livery and live bait place in 1954. It was a bit ramshackle then, and it is now upgraded ramshackle. It's a great place to stop, have some good food, and cold beer. It's the only place left on the card sound road from 60 years ago. But it will give... More

The food was literally inedible. We had heard a lot about Alabama Jacks so we decided to try it. We ordered the Conch Fritters and a Combo Plate with crab cakes, conch fritters and fried mahi mahi. Everything was completely SATURATED in grease the whole way through. The Conch Fritters consisted of an unappetizing pile of grease. They were a... More

First of all this bar will not be for everyone! If you do not want your food served on disposable plates don't go here. It is very casual and Keysey. When we previously came here we just had the appetisers and thought these were Ok (though I would say the wings are awesome!), this time we had the combo platters.... More

Have heard a lot about Alabama Jack's over the the years so we were anticipating at east good tasting food. This is our first and last visit to an overpriced, thin fried dolphin plate, tasteless crabcakes and wizened fried clams. The Parrot Breeze and Rum Punch were also sparse on the alcohol.

Nothing fancy, but it's nice to sit right beside the water and watch the birds and boats. The food was alright, but nothing to write home about. We had a combo fish platter which offered 3 fish items - conch, fish fingers, and crab cakes. The conch fritter was good, but we couldn't get the crab cake because they were... More

We found this place while out driving, it was so cool we sat out on the deck overlooking the mangroves. You have sit and gaze over the water watching all the fish and boats going by, they also had live music while we were there. The service was very good and the food was good, specially the clam strips and... More

We had a good lunch at this small restaurant that occupies an old roadhouse on a side reroad north of Key Largo. The restaurant had a good selection of food.We enjoyed our meal there

Stopped at Alabama Jacks on way out of the Keys for quick lunch/ drink. A very laid back bar with live music, friendly people and bar menu. Lots of fried foods served on disposable plates but good quick island eats. Conch fritter, coconut shrimp and grilled dolphin sandwich were good. Great place to check out when heading in/out of the... More
