Stopped in on our way to Islamorada didn't have a full lunch, we had the lobster bites and my husband had a conch chowder. Gave it three stars because we did find a couple pebbles in the conch chowder and sitting outside there was a definite stench from the windblown seaweed that was clogging the end of the canal ,I... On our way down to Marathon we were looking for a place for lunch in Key Largo and decided to try Buzzard's. Really a little difficult to locate but definitely worth the efforts. We sat outside next to the water. The waiter was very courteous and a nice gentleman. The drinks were great and the seafood lunch was fresh and... More

Since Buzzards Roost was selected as a Fodor's Choice restaurant in Key Largo, we thought this would be our best meal. Unfortunately, our dinner was good, but not great. The setting is very pleasant, and we were seated on the screen porch at a window table, Our lobster bisque was quite tasty, but a bit too salty for my taste.... More

the location was really nice, but they had such difficulty seating us. Tons of tables were empty, but no one was clearing them. The hostess seemed flustered and unable to manage her list of names. Once seated, the food was slow, but tasted fine. Nice outdoor seating and a live musician. Perhaps they didn't realize it was Spring break week?

Stopped in for lunch on our way to Islamorada. Delicious. Best fish tacos I ever had. The tuna sandwich was tasty. My kids who are picky eaters were accommodated: plain spaghetti and cheese quesadillas. Highly recommend. Off the beaten path, but worth it.

On a very hot day we sat inside the screened in eating area. The cover kept us out of the sun and the fans kept us nice and cool. The view was interesting and pretty. I had a chicken salad wrap which is probably the best one I've ever had. Chicken, grapes, nuts and wonderful seasoning in a spinach wrap... More

Great seafood and service! Request to sit outside for a great view. Loved the conch fritters and fish dip.

We were on our way to Miami, found this place thanks to TripAdvisor. It's a big American diner, you can sit inside or outside. It's located in the end of a sea tongue, with boats all over. Everything we ordered was tasty, quick and helpful service. One of the best restaurants we try in the keys.

Hidden away at the corner of the marina, we drove past this place twice before locating the wooden door. Large outdoor covered seating area overlooking the dock and canal. Lots of tasty fresh fish dishes. Mango sorbet is without doubt the most flavoursome sorbet I've ever tasted.

I waited 30 minutes for this, but it is SO worth it. The chips are good, fritters are bursting with flavor, and the fish is phenomenal. It might take some time, but it provides in the taste department.😝
