The Pelican Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants in South Florida. We live in Boca Raton, and twice monthly we drive 45 minutes north to this GEM of a restaurant! Everything is made to order and is fresh, fresh, fresh! Amazing appetizers, salads, soups and scrumptious entrees! Wonderful weekly entertainment, especially Jill & Rich on Thursday nights! The owners... More

The Pelican Cafe and the owners Mark and Karen Frangione remind me of the lyrics form Cheers "Wouldn't you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go -- Where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came .... THIS IS THAT PLACE - the owners are almost always on site and giving personal attention to everyone, the... More

7 reviews 2/16/2017 Read some of the reviews and expected a nice evening with friends. We arrived on time for 7 pm reservation for four. On entering the noise level was deafening. We were immediately seated, given water and beverages and in a few minutes placed our order with a waiter who was obviously a bit harried. There was a... More

Dear Malpractice NY: We'll let your handle name speak for itself. You are correct..." we were more concerned about our Server" - because we don't tolerate customers who grab, grope and denigrate our staff and then stiff them a tip. We suggest that if you want to dine quietly reserve a table at 6 PM not 7 PM prime time... More

We visit the area each year for a few weeks and always visit the Pelican Cafe. One of our all time favorites. The owners and staff are wonderful and the food is fabulous. Cappuccino is the best around. Restaurant is charming and whimsical. Homemade doughnuts are a treat worth waiting for in the morning. The Pelican Cafe is one of... More

I have been here on previous trips for Sunday breakfast. They serve freshly made donuts which are a real hit with my family. this vacation however I took my friends to dinner. We all had the special which was a shrimp scampi with little pasta bundles filled with ricotta. I could have licked the bowl. The key lime pie however... More

Beautiful little spot in an old home, nice people, and delicious food all day long. Well worth a visit for any meal of the day.

Went here with another couple for dinner on a Sunday night on a recommendation from a friend. Very nice atmosphere, but a bit noisey as the place is fairly small inside. There is outside dining available. The food was excellent, but very pricey ($27 for spaghetti with meatball and sausage, and salads are not included with meals). All of us... More

Pleasant place, music on Tuesdays outside on the patio. Nice range of food, breakfast and dinner. Never had a bad meal here but, slightly pricey. Check out schedules for music, hard to enjoy good dinner conversation during evenings that provide music. Very loud. Owner is very friendly and will do anything to accommodate your needs. Great menu and good service.... More

We stopped in here for an early lunch. The doughnuts were amazing and were gone from our table in a hurry :) All of our meals were good and large servings.
