The buffet is not large but has a wonderful selection. When I last had lunch there, there were 3 vegetarian items including one lentil and one spinach, two chicken dishes, and one goat, all very good. They always have rice, tossed salad, and a dessert pudding (mango) on the buffet. And there are several dressings/sauces as well. Each item is... More

This was our first time to try Indian food, and we were very pleased. Vic was our server and he was both attentive and helpful. We started with a Gateway Platter appetizer to try a variety of items. It was good, but most of the items were fried except for the chicken, so we probably won't get it again. For... More

We went for lunch buffet in the month of June 2016. Some of the food items are very salty. There is no veg biryanis or chicken rice item. Dessert was now pudding.

Food is very good and the lunch buffet is priced well. I've been for lunch twice and the buffet included chicken tandori, naan, all of the typical chutneys and a number of other typical Indian dishes.

Food has stayed consistant of the last 5 years but ambience and facitlity needs attention. Sit in restaurant seems to have suffered in favor of take out trade.

When a friend suggested that our group of six have Indian food for lunch My wife and I were all for it. But when he said that he had been enjoying Gateway to India for over ten years I was anticipating a superior dining experience. Gateway to India exceeded my expectations by miles!! The atmosphere is comfortable and dignified. The... More

We have found that most of the buffet items at Gateway to India are TOO spicy hot... the hottest of any Indian buffet food we've ever eaten. (We've eaten at many Indian buffets in numerous cities and states.) The first time we thought it might be a fluke so we gave them a second chance. Again, the food was SO... More

Food was superb; service was good; atmosphere was average. The three of us shared a Vegetable Platter appetizer to start our dinner. Every item was perfectly prepared and all were flavored with different spices. Delicious! Our entrees were Shahi Paneer (creamy tomato cashew sauce), Butter chicken, and Chicken Tikka Massala. The Shahi Paneer and Tikka Massala were especially tasty. Again,... More

Amazing buffet, although a bit pricey. Well worth the money. Excellent staff, very polite and attentive. This is a family owned operation- and you can see the difference in the experience. Great selection on buffet- 2 meats, several lentil and veg dishes, bread, salad, and a dessert. Clean place. Family friendly.
