The Shrimp Specialty is outstanding and a very large portion. Excellent professional staff and excellent wine selection or beer.

My wife & I ate at Cafe de Marco 2 yrs ago and 3 yrs ago. It remains SUPERIOR & easily top 3 on the island. Located in quaint Old Marco, it reeks of stability and out- standing cuisine. Order chicken/seafood pasta as I did or salmon as my spouse did= always delicious and different. The steaming hot rolls are... More

I always like to point out whenever a restaurant has early bird specials that are worth ordering. Café de Marco has a large selection of items on what they call their Twilight specials. Large selection, too numerous to mention here but certainly worth asking about if you arrive in the 5:00 to 5:45 time frame. Their regular menu has an... More

The food was amazing. Everything was made to perfection, everyone there was nice and moved well together. There was something on the menu for everyone. Our waitress Jennifer was super nice and was helpful and the owner was just as delightful. Would definitely go again!

My wife said it was her best meal on the island. The prawns and scallops were amazing. My favorite part was the sea food platter. It was the perfect combination of seafood. My daughters meal was adventurous with octopus and lobster. The lobster was on the kids menu. Our service from Zammy the waitress was fantastic. The entire meal was... More

Food - Portions were very large! My mahi mahi with a macadamia nut crush and mango sauce/relish (this was some chopped pieces of mango not very tasty) was very dry and not moist and flaky. It was not fine flavorful seafood. Prawns are one of the special of the house and they are quick to tell you that you get... More

We both had the tripletail fish. It was the catch of the day. Very good. Joe L. was our server. He provided great service and was very informative. Try the cheesecake.

Everything was very good. Recommend to all looking for a good meal on Marco. Grouper and snapper with light sauces, fresh salad with homemade dressing and key lime pie.

Tucked away in the northern most point of Old Marco is Cafe de Marco. An intimate bistro/cafe serving the most diverse selection of fresh seafood & other continental specialties since 1983. A favorite amongst locals & seasonal return visitors to Marco Island. Reservations are greatly appreciated. Olde Florida atmosphere in the historic district of Olde Marco. Perfect for an outstanding meal, business, or special occasion. Vast wine selection and beer available. Twilight specials and children's menu available. Owned and operated by same owner & family since starting out in 1983. Our building enjoys a rich piece of Marco history. The Cafe's building was the original quarters for the chamber maids employed by the historic Old Marco Inn just a few yards away. Many years ago the Inn functioned as a "bed & breakfast", and the maids would simply walk to work from our building. This explains the answer to a frequently asked question..."Was this an old house at one time?" Today, step inside to what has been transformed into an islander's tradition for over 30 years. We look forward to serving you soon! ~Sandy Franchino, Owner
