David's was recommended by the Cuban families as one of the best places for real homemade Cuban food. We were definitely not disappointed. The pork dishes were so good, beans and rice, calamari, pork rinds, just everything. It's nothing fancy, but well worth trying out for the real thing in Cuban food.

We went for breakfast this morning and had the café con leche, The Cuban toast, steak and eggs and a breakfast burrito. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Our server, Sammy, was sweet, funny and professional. Thank you, David's!

Great lunch menu, superior food, great service and a good value all in one. Previously location was just off Lincoln Rd. Conveniently located on the Western tip of Miami Beach.

Amazing breakfast. I got the Cuban breakfast and my husband got the burrito breakfast. Best breakfast and coffee we ever had. We love exploring and this Cafecito was a highly recommended place from Antonio Torres who works at The Forge and was our server last night for dinner. Thank you Antonio for the recommendation. We really enjoyed our breakfast and... More

I ordered a Cuban steak cooked medium well with potatoes and a salad which was delicious. I think the total came to less than $15 which I thought was pretty reasonable considering the portion. This was located right across the street from my hostel which was great.

Just to keep it real, is not a pure tourist restaurant. You will find the locals and the regulars in the David's, you will love the food and, of course, the cafecito. The service is excellent and the place is clean, will for sure meet your expectations if you are a Cuban food fan. The "cafecito", just try, you will... More

This is an overdue review- we were in Miami celebrating a birthday and wanted to get a quick, cheap, yet delicious meal. I found David's cafe on here and the food is excellent and the coffee is just as good. What makes this place worth going to aside from the obvious- their waiter Sammy we went there twice on our... Nearly a year after closing its Collins Avenue location, the iconic 40-year-old Cuban cafe alights on Alton Road, settling into a smaller SoBe space with blue-and-black tiled floors and its signature walk-up window where locals get their morning cafecito fix. The menu includes breakfast staples like fried eggs and bacon, plus classics like Cubano Sandwich and churrasco (grilled beef) that never grow old.
