Sunday afternoon lunch with old pals. The Real Madrid game on the TV, excellent Spanish reds, pulpo a la gallega, píquillos rellenos de bacalao, garlic shrimp, bellota ham, an enormous beef rib, paella de mariscos and a taste of the glorious cochinillo. If I were a Spaniard this would be very close to how I imagine heaven. As I am... More

For a long time we have been looking for a good Spanish food restaurant. We have tried many (some very expensive) of them, but couldn't find one that I would say it was worth to come back again. Finally, today for mother's day we discover Jamón Ibérico Pata Negra. We took a chance as none of us had been there... More

We visited Pata Negra following an advise from a foodie friend. We were skeptical as we were in Madrid last December and visited several of Madrid best recommended restaurants. But Miami, it surprises you over and over again. Close to Brickell and the Miami river area it was a little difficult to find as it is in a residential area.... More

This is the place in Miami for paella, a city well known for its Spanish cuisine. If you decide to go instead for something downsized, try the shrimp in garlic sauce. You will not be disappointed. Save room for coconut flan.

We had several tapas, paella and crema catalan. The food was delicious like always and one cannot complain about the price. It is different from the usual Miami fare and definitely worth the drive. The service was outstanding and our server recommended a great bottle of wine. Everything felt authentic and we had a wonderful evening. They did not play... More

Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting us! I am happy to read that you enjoyed your experience with us. I eat at this restaurant regularly, and it never disappoints. Chef Felipe always comes and greets his customers in a very warm friendly way. The restaurant is beautiful with nice Spanish decor. The food is delicious, I always order tapas like garlic mushrooms, 5j jamon, garlic shrimp, etc. Can't wait to go back

A Spanish Restaurant very typical of many Spanish towns. The owner/Chef Felipe Perez will usually come out and ask you about your meal. Don't be afraid to ask for recommendations.

Description
Simply delicious. Waiting for you in Miami River's trendy Neo Lofts, Jamon Iberico Pata Negra Restaurant offers a little bit of Spain right in the heart of Miami. Cured Iberian pig's legs ornament the ceiling. Delectable products are showcased in glass cases inviting to be savored. Artwork and Spanish regalia adorn the walls. This hole-in-the-wall, in the typical Spanish tradition serves as both a restaurant, as well as, a jamoneria. With an emphasis on everything Spanish, executive chef and owner, Felipe Perez, offers the best in traditional, Spanish cuisine. Decades of culinary experience, Felipe and his staff focus on passionately preserving authentic, Spanish flavors. The gastronomic temptations of Spain are represented in the restaurant's rich menu. Serving regional favorites: tapas, paellas, meats and seafood, the restaurant also possesses a broad array of fine quality Spanish wines. Friendly service, intimate ambiance and good food harkens back to, as chef Felipe would describe his beloved homeland, "magical Spain".
