Almost hidden away in NW Miami the Castle Morra is glorified "stand" with some seats, a quick sit non-touristy semi-establishment with most enormous (and tasty) Cuban sandwiches I have ever had the pleasure to eat over two days for a ridiculously low price. On a mid-afternoon no English was spoken but I did manage to understand enough to order a... More

This is the place if you want some typical Cuban fare. Get the batido (shake) and order a Cuban sandwich!

A place where locals go, Morro Castle is super cheap and super delicious. The milkshakes are the best I've ever had anywhere and the churros are fabulous. They're very different from Mexican churros and much tastier. The sandwiches are outstanding, especially the pan con lechon. Great place!

I am unsure how this restaurant makes money given the size of a Cuban sandwich for a price of less than $6. It's a great deal while it lasts. As for the dining experience, this is really a takeaway place as the interior has no air conditioning and caged. The cashiers are extremely friendly and helpful but speak little English.... More

The place is old and on a very busy street. The sandwichesare huge and very tasty. The price is just amazing, 5$ for a really large sandwich on lovely Chrispy bread. The pork sandwich was fantastic. The waitress was great.

I loved the fritas.. The cuban version of the american cheeseburger. This place looks a little dark and even a bit scary but the quality of the food was awsome. Do yourself a favor and stop in.. The girls at the counter were very welcoming

The place is old, you seat al fresco (no air conditioning), and drive by traffic could make you crazy. However, they have the best fritas in Miami. Their steak sandwich is the best I've had in a long time. Loaded with crispy potato sticks and onions !!!! The best is the price, under $5.00 !!!!! Fresh made guarapo (sugar cane... More

This place has ZERO ambiance and delicious food. The portions are huge; one sandwich is more than enough for two hungry people. The fritas, the croquetas preparadas, the flan, the cafe con leche----everything is delicious. You get more than your money's worth. Aaaaah !!! And the churros are out of this world!!!

As other reviewers have said, the fritas here are wonderful, as is the guarapo (freshly pressed sugar cane juice). Que rica! This place will appeal to those who care more about food than ambiance. If youre the sort of person who derives pleasure from paying more to eat at a restaurant with white table cloths, you wont be happy here.... More
