This area and within a short walk around here there just aren't many options for restaurants. The Cuban sandwich was just ok. The Brazilian food looked ok too but not great. The lady was very nice but service was very slow. Again, ok for the area if you are walking around trying to find a place but I wouldn't go... More

This is restaurant is located at the Faena Hotel, is absolutely amazing, over the top and very expensive, but if you are in the mood for wonderful food, exquisite decor, and movie like ambiance THIS IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE to be. Beautifully done and everything about it is out of a Hollywood movie. The wine list is superb and the... More

Excellent service, small restaurant and wonderful food. My colleague had the steak with rice and beans, and I ordered the fish with plaintains. Both were excellent, and we travel around the world with internaitonal culinary experiences to compare. When you get your bill, tip is already calculated.

We stopped at Varanda's for brunch and were very impressed by the menu offerings. I ordered and omelette for myself which was delicious and cooked to perfection. My dining companions ordered the fresh fruit and we ordered plantains and fried juca to share. Everything was wonderful, our server who I think was also the owner was very accommodating and friendly.... More

Small restaurant with good home cooked style food. Had the steak which was delicious and my wife had the fish stew. We were both very happy with our choices. Looking around, everyone's plates were empty and lots of happy faces. It is very well priced. I think we are going back again today!

Enjoyed this place VERY much! Prices were reasonable & service was at an expected pace - The woman who helped me spoke Portuguese and english was her second language - I felt like I was back in Brasil & had just stopped in at a local street cafe -

Restaurant Clean, tables clean, table cloths clean, food warm, food is just food, cannot brag about the taste because it's tasteless restaurant food, you need add the salt and pepper or spices of your choice. Best if you try out places outside the hotel/restaurant.
