Probably the best value breakfast on Lincoln Road. A daily fix for us both, memories of when"The Cafe" was in the book shop still resound. Wonderful waiting staff.

Strolling on Miami's Lincoln Road, I stopped by the Cafe at Books &Books. The food was good and wholesome. I had the grilled Mai-mai sandwich with salad (see picture). Service was quick and the location is ideal for people watching. Prices are reasonable. The cafe has a varied menu and is extremely vegan friendly. I will definitely patronized this establishment... Two couple (plus baby in stroller) dinner here recently. Mall side, under canopy seating was very pleasant and great for people watching and enjoying the cool breezes. Service was excellent. Pleasant, friendly maitre d'. Our waiter was friendly and very attentive without being annoying. A nearby family group had a mid-size dog and a small child, all accommodated without difficulty.... On our last morning we had breakfast here. We sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance. I had the salted caramel banana pancakes and they were awesome. We also had the breakfast quesadilla that was amazing.

Popped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. HUGE umbrellas over all tables, so no worries about the hot sun. Lots of breakfast choices. Had granola and the breakfast quesadillas. Both were really tasty. And, I know we're in Florida, but they're fresh squeezed OJ was as good as it gets.

We were greeted by John and he was lovely. Knowledgable; attentive; perfect conversationalist. Our Server Dina was from our home state of NJ and a kindred spirit. The ambiance was perfect for a leisurely Sunday night to eat out under the stars and enjoy the people watching. Lastly the food was superb. Perfectly cooked burgers on very fresh brioche that... Our server was great both times (he even remembered us). We had sandwiches, desserts and Sangria. All were really, really good.

Eat outside - the people watching is worth it! Food is fresh and tasty, and not too high priced considering the location.
