Headed to Bolivar because we had visited about two years ago. They are in their new location. We had some fun drinks and the 7 item tapas. See pics. Absolutely great meal!!! Very pleased with their rustic approach to South American cuisine. Right down to the early Peruvian corn scattered across various dishes. Blood sausage was wonderful. Good size portions, great for sharing. It's an expensive area and the prices her are reasonable for what you're getting.

Rey and Susan are great. Very attentive. The food would be deserving of a michelin star if it were in London. Very highly recommended

Glad we found TripAdvisor recommendations for Bolivar! Walked right in on a Friday night and found great service and delicious food. We shared a sampler of garlic shrimp, fried pork belly, shredded beef empanades, grilled vegetables, corn cakes, and more delicious items I can't remember. What I remember was it was all wonderful! Accompanied by a very fine malbec. Plus... More

Found the place sparsely populated on Super Bowl night, but our server was really wonderful and attentive and made great suggestions. We chose a sampler of 7 items which was more than enough for the two of us and we shared the leftovers. Wonderfully seasoned meats, fried white cheese, and beans anchored the plate with empanadas and coconut rice (devine!)... More

We checked YELP for a local place to eat and taste the many cultures of Miami. Bolivar was the perfect place. We ate out in front on the sidewalk cafe and it was a beautiful night. My husband tried a few different beers and I had the sangria. We ordered the empanada trio for appetizer and each had the Churrasco... More

I came here for dinner on my last night in Miami and wish I had found it sooner. Portions were generous, food was delicious (blood sausage starter was amazing). After I had finished eating I went to the bar for a drink and ended up there until midnight drinking a variety of gorgeous rums and chatting to Jesi from Venezuela... More

This time we ordered lomo saltado , churrasco and Pulpo app. The meat just tasted ok , friends not impressed!!The pulpo has nice presentation but it's just bits of pulpo , lots of tomatoes and balls of potatoes in a small plate... We had a wonderful meal tonight, which included the corn and shrimp chowder, avocado salad, and a traditional pork dish served with fried sweet plantains, rice, and beans. They also brought us some complementary tapas as an appetizer. The atmosphere was just right, not too loud and not too quiet. Highly recommend this place.
