I saw Guy Fieri do a show on this Haitian restaurant and it looked so fantastic that it was on my short list to try. On his show he reviewed the Akra and it was really good. The watercress dipping sauce was fantastic! For the main dish I ordered the Griyo which Guy also featured. In the show his was... More

Perfect place to have some good Haitian food. I was disappointed that they didn't have oxtail but the chicken stew was tasty. Loved the orka!!

This restaurant was excellent in terms of food, service, and ambience. The server gave us excellent recommendations. My family and I had the poached snapper, stew goat, stew beef with okra, and stew chicken. Everything was delicious, but the poached snapper was incredible! The homemade ginger beer is very good, though be warned it is very strong. The meals come... More

Went to this place looking for carribean cuisine, and was not disappointed. Great flavors and decent portions. Our food took some time, even though the restaurant was not full. They added a charge of 18% tip, but used the total sum, and not the price without tax, which is not the common way to do it. They were also out... More

we had the best time here, delicious food and amazing artwork everywhere. The food took a little while to get to us, but totally worth the wait. Felt like we were at someones home, a rare experience when youre on vacation. Definitely try the stews and salads. And the Haitian sodas are yum!

We ate there as an alternative for the mundain and loud restaurants on Ocean Drive, which is nearby, where decadence and loud tastelesness rule. The atmosphere is authentic Haitian for as far as I know, with friendly waitresses, free water and good food. i had the roast chicken, which was very tasty. Portions are of ample size.

First time of having Haitian food. Grouper was good and so was pumpkin soup. Loved the decor. Easy walk from the Kimpton Angler's Hotel.

As locals, we LOVE Tap Tap. I myself am half Haitian, and am so glad there is a nearby restaurant to get my fix of Legumes, Pickliz, and more. The entire space is covered from head to toe in vibrant, colorful Haitian art. It's a beautiful display of our culture. Shoutout to the Legumes (Legim), Poisson Neg, and the Sitwonad... More

A bit off the beaten path but a good choice for something different and authentic. Friendly atmosphere and staff. The food was good, the prices could be a cheaper though. The chicken boukannen was a bit dry and the fish was too cooked as well. A lack of finesse. What I really hate in the contrary is getting the check... More
