This is a solid place to grab a bite for dinner. We started with the goat cheese croquetas which were delicious. Surprisingly, the spaghetti bolognese here is really great! We also loved the plaintain crusted mahi mahi, which came with delicious accompaniments.

Stopped for a burger at lunch time. Great service from a knowledgeable waiter. The burgers (one meat one veggie) were both lovely. Not the cheapest eat but the price reflected the good quality food. Would recommend.

The outdoor seating was great! The tapas were good for two people. The guac is very spicy. We ordered the empanadas, shrimp, and some other apps. Over all delicious!

We had a wonderful dinner. We started with the dates stuffed with chorizo and a pepper cream sauce. We also had the spinach salad with strawberry dressing and goat cheese. For our main dish we had the paella and a wonderful Cuban meat dish. The food was fantastic The service was excellent and I highly recommend this restaurant

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend in Denver, so a day was planned around eating at YUCA on a recent visit to the Miami area. With a lack of great Cuban food options in the West, we were excited to experience an authentic Cuban place again. The menu was more on the creative side with less to choose... More

Nothing off the charts here in terms of Cuban cuisine. One of the nicer restaurants on Lincoln mall. Good service but food just average. Guacamole rather skimpy and tasteless. Skinny margarita, OK, nothing special. The salmon was fine; the churasco (sp?), skirt steak...first time was delivered cold; sent it back, no problem. Came back proper temperature, but was chewy and... More

I had dinner at Yuca in January after spending some time at Miami beach. I found this restaurant on Google map. The food was delicious. In my opinion, they have many South American dishes but they seem fusion style. The mohito was nice. I had ceviche and paella. They were good but nothing extraordinary. It locates in the middle of... All four of us who had lunch at YUCA had fantastic meals. The hamburger that I had was angus beef with a wonderful cheese and very fresh vegetables on it. However, not sure if they were busy inside or just have a laid back atmosphere, but the service did take quite awhile. From the drink order, to the meal, to... More

My husband likes to take clients to this restaurant when traveling to the Miami Beach area. During our last less business trip, he chose to take us there. Absolutely delicious. There were 4 of us in our group. 3 of us had never been to this restaurant. Each of us ordered something different so we could try more selections. The... More

Stopped by for lunch.... food was really good! Only downside was service was pretty slow... and the restaurant didn't seem busy. Overall, the food is worth trying!!

Description
YUCA, an acronym for Young Urban Cuban-Americans, is widely known as being South Florida's original upscale Cuban restaurant featuring Innovative Nuevo Latino Cuisine or as the locals call it "Nuevo Latino." This style of cooking includes traditional Latin ingredients such as a plethora of textures, colors, and flavors that when combined creates a cuisine that is unique to anything offered outside of the Caribbean and Latin America.
