Enthusiastic waiters keep you busy and entertained with singing happy birthday in italian and load discussion and commends for subordinate waiters. All good fun and food. My seafood platter was a little burnt in some parts but still good. There was also a $25 service charge included on bill. Read carefully.

I grew up on Italian my entire life and lived in Italy for a good part of it. This place has excellent food! Not cheap, mind you, but excellent. I've had Italian in South Beach before and none compare.

We decided to eat at this restaurant because the decor and style appeared to promise an authentic Italian meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, just as the food was being served and as the restaurant filled up, the music was cranked up to the extent that it was difficult to maintain a conversation; the only people enjoying the loud music... My girlfriend and I returned from a 2 week tour of Italy this April and in many ways Hosteria Romana reminded us of the touristy restaurants we encountered in Rome. Its fun, they are a little pushy, food is ok but way too pricey for what you get. Pizza looked good but only saw it passing by our table. Bill... More

Super Rude Waiter, don't waste your money on terrible service. When I first walked in I thought the vibe and they had live music, even if it was too loud I thought eventually it would die off. My BF wanted to leave but I convinced him to stay, I wish I listened to him. The loud music dragged on, with... More

I usually go here when visiting Miami, but I feel their wait staff is overly aggressive in upselling. Our table ended up getting a large t bone steak that was partially cooked, then finished at our table. It was average at best. The sides which were "part of the deal" were small to split with 5. Avoid it and order... More

First of all try to sit inside for a change :) It feels like you are in Italy. All waiters speak Italian and have very good sense of humor. Food is authentic and very good. Prices for main dish may seem expensive but when you see the size of the portions you would not say so. Pizza and Steak Milanese... More

We travelled to Miami on vacation last April. This restaurant was suggested by a friend who lives in the area part time and loves the food and location! We weren't disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere and the service. Looking forward to going back in a few weeks when we vacation in the area again!
