In the middle of all the glitz of South Beach stucco is a wonderful fish restaurant. Along South Beach's famous ocean front was an amazing place with it's lighted appetizers and quality food. We enjoyed a raised patio view while people watching. The service was...More

The service was excellent. The manager came around to make sure all was good, which is always nice. Food was delicious! There was some live music playing which really set the mood. I recommend this especially if you want a romantic evening.

It's like hidden gem. I was recommended to try the sea food here during my trip and was amazed. The service lacks bit but that is typical in ocean drive. I forgot my waiters name. One of con is that is a little overpriced.

I ordered the whole fish of the day which happened to be branzino. I have food intolerances and I asked if the food can be made gluten free and with no garlic. I also asked if they could put the oregano vinaigrette on the side....More

Ended up eating here 3 times whilst in Miami beach due to being that much better than the other places nearby. The tuna tartare, ceviche tasting, scallops were highlights and would have again. Good/attentive service.

There were 7 of us who traveled to Miami to celebrate this special birthday! Our servers, Michael and Andrew were both phenomenal, food was varied (and fantastic), and the manager was so attentive to our every need. Sorry this restaurant is over 800 miles away!

Had a really memorable dinner here... started with the barrel aged Manhattan, followed by Escargot, macadamia crusted snapper and the dark chocolate Lava cake. The service and cuisine were exceptional. If you love seafood... this is a must try! Enjoy!

Overlooking Ocean Drive from the veranda of the Avalon Hotel is the 25 year old, acclaimed restaurant, A fish Called Avalon. Cuisine features local seafood prepared with a sensuous, tropical flair. An extensive wine reserve and full service bar naturally compliment our great food.
