Ordered Caribbean ribs, 1/4 chicken, rice and beans and started with the chicken soup. Soup: was good except the huge pieces of plantains that filled half of my cup. Ribs: was yummy Chicken: was pre over cooked and dry Rice and beans: pretty Ok Might go back but not to this branch.

Everything is cooked right in front of you, there's usually a little line but once you order it doesn't take much for the food to be ready. if you are looking for some cheap homemade food feeling this is the place

To feed a hungry family we chose Pollo Tropical and it was ok and in our opinion a better alternative than nearby fast food places.

We were referred here by the Intercontinental Miami hotel guest check in. This place was reasonably priced and was so good. Very busy but the wait was short. Can't wait to go back!

Place is located on Alton road. There is no service you just order and collect your food and sit anywhere you like to eat. The food is good and cheap, very nice garlic sauce and a good selection of salads. The chicken dish I had was very good with three meats ribs, chicken and pork. Good value for money

We stumbled upon this place on our trip to Miami. We had a long adventurous da and needed something quick but good to eat. We were recommended to this place and I see why. The food was good and the prices were good.

It's very nice to be able to dine in or get latin food on the go. Food is always good and so is the service. This is a great place to eat over all.

I'm a big fan of chicken & rice fast food restaurants. But this is really really good!punchy cuban flavours. Simple dishes with amazing flavour and at a super low rate! Eg half chicken rice and black beans was like $7. Highly recommended for a fast food lunch. Caution, can get busy at lunch times! 5 stars for me!

The only thing Spanish about el Pollo Tropical is the name and that's it. The food is not so bad although there's nothing Spanish about it. "El American Pollo Tropical" would make more sense or American Under A Palm Tree" maybe even "Que Pollo Que Pollo, Chicken". Lines are always long, takes long to get your food. That when you...
