Nice place to drop in for a Sunday brunch, and it is apparently a favorite of the locals in New Port Richey. This was the perfect day to try this restaurant. The service was great. The access to it, however, is problematic for handicapped people because there is a step from the outside entrance into the restaurant which would be difficult for a wheelchair, and you would have to plan on sitting outdoors (but there was plenty of good seating on the day we were there). Parking is across the street in a parking lot. The corned beef hash was a specialty here and was their own recipe. It has an unusual spice mixed in it, but wasn't like the usual corned beef in that it wasn't a 50/50 mix with potatoes--it was corned beef! The home fries were excellent as well. We also enjoyed the oatmeal, and it comes with a variety of mix-ins, so just ask for what you want. The prices are very reasonable. Worth a visit!

Breakfast was so-so

Voted (11/08/22) and stopped here afterwards for what I had hoped would be a great breakfast. It was not. Server Beverly made it quite pleasant and came around often with coffee. Ordered 2 eggs over easy, hash and home fries with rye toast. Eggs were ok but the hash had a strange spice flavor and was dry. Potato was warm and toast seemed to be old bread. Coffee was okay and hot. I wasn't really impressed but will return and try their lunch next time. I even sat outside and watched the traffic - that was entertaining. LOL

Love Christinas!

I eat at Christina's often. I work a few doors down from this restaurant so order frequently. My food has always been excellent. I usually get some kind of omelet or some kind of sandwich and have been pleased. The food is always hot and fresh and the service is quick and friendly. I love the breakfast potatoes both with and without onions as they are very tasty.

Bad service, argumentative staff, below average food, average presentation of food

I’m posting this on behalf of my mother who went with my husband, father and my 2 kids. It’s been 20years since we went there because we had a bad experience then with the service and food was below average at best. However my husband and I have been there a couple times in the last 6years; service was bad and unwelcoming as well. Here’s how yesterday went: (The restaurant was not full as it was a rainy cold day yesterday.) 1) Waitress did not inform that there was an extra charge for my kids bacon and sausage. (Which we would have only asked for 1 or 2 pieces instead of 3 because the surcharge is quite expensive). Solution: Communication of extra charges is key to good service. 2) When meal was served; my kids bacon and sausage weren’t served. And my mother got another server because they couldn’t find their server. They got the attention of a long-haired redhead older waitress and told her what they were missing. She continued to press my mother with a demeaning tone on whether or not it was a side. Which is not up to my mom who doesn’t work there to decide the invoicing of this. Solution would have been this waitress to retrieve our waitress to handle the situation. 3) Pancake looked undercooked as both sides were white not brown. 4) No manager came to the table to ask us how the meal and service went. 5) After paying the bill at the front desk there was ABSOLUTELY no farewell, have a good day nor thank you for dinning with us as we are accustomed to when going to Madison Restaurant, Jimmy’s, Herschel’s, Central Park and other restaurants in the surrounding area. Solution: Discussion and training as well as observing the waitresses on the floor to ensure consistent good customer service is being given. As my 6year old said after this ordeal “they need to learn their manners.” We will not be back.

Best Breakfast in Town!

We really enjoyed our fantastic breakfasts at Christina's! It feels like home, and the team members are so warm and welcoming. The food came out quickly, and was perfect! It's rare to get an egg white omelet to come out as well as the one I had. The morning before, we ate at a chain and we were over-the-top disappointed in every aspect of that place (I already reviewed them...yuck!). Anyway, we spent half of what we spent there, the food was 100000x better, and the service was fantastic! Can't wait to return on the next trip down! Thank you, Christina's!

We had a great lunch and felt like we were transported back in time to the 70s. They offer breakfast all day but we went with a couple of the sandwiches which were good and the service was excellent. Angie W. was our server and dressed for Halloween.

Newport Richey is a great place to go and stay in an RB and B and then travel around town. If you're in a hotel, christina's, we stopped at. Everyone told us it's a great breakfast place. We stayed two years ago there, eating breakfast with our puppy. We took our 2 year old now puppy in with us, Newport Richey, as a dog friendly town. We walked in, we found out it was under new old nurse. Everything that we ordered had an old greasy taste. upon telling the owner, I advised her maybe she should try using coconut oil. I hope they change things because it's such a cute restaurant downtown that everybody stops or needs outsider inside. I hope this place don't fall in between the cracks. I hope to check it out. I hope they change the oil. There's nothing worse than old oil grease. on your eggs. Biscuits and gravy.

Mmmm..and we're picky!

WE had lunch on the outside patio with our dog. The fish--basa--that I ordered was superb--served over a bed of rice with the same seasoning as the fish. (I never heard of Basa but the waitress assured me customers loved it...so, take a chance!!!) Best meal I had in FL in a week and we dined at some higher end restaurants. My husband had the chopped sirloin, smothered in gravy with mushrooms and onions...he was delighted that all were top quality and freshly prepared. We were more than pleased not only with our meal but with the friendly, attentive service of our waitress. Good people, great service, fabulous food. If I lived here, this foodie would be a regular.

Quality food and friendly service

I've got to Christina's a couple time in the last few weeks - once for lunch and once for breakfast. Both times they went above and beyond with the service, but the food really stood out to me.

Reasonable Prices and Plentiful Food

My husband loved the Greek omelet this morning; the light breakfast of pancake, bacon and egg was sufficient for me. The price: $12! We also had lunch there a week ago, and we've never seen so much meat on a Gyro! My club sandwich was stacked with meat & cheese. It's a "mom & pop" diner, so there's nothing fancy about it. It's just good food with good service.
