We had lunch here today and the food was fantastic. Gacomule is made daily and fresh and it was very good. The décor is a little odd, but once I got past that, the food was worth staying! We sat outside which was nice.

Dining at Cantina Captiva is a must do during our visits to Captiva. The decor is quirky and quaint with the setting and currency wallpaper. The staff is attentive and the Mexican foods are yummy. There is also outdoor seating. It's a great place to dine with family and friends.

We drive up to Captiva in our recent stay in Sanibel. Nice little place with authentic Mexican. It's very beach and low key with indoor and outdoor seating. The margaritas are strong and the guacamole is very good! Don't come dressed up... it's a "walk off the beach" kind of place.

We stopped here on our way to the condo. Our friends had been here before and recommended it. There were only two people working besides the cooks, but service was good. Everyone leaves a dollar to hang on the wall, a neat tradition. I would recommend taking your own sharpie as the ones provided were pretty dried out. We got... More

Came here for a late lunch with parents, after a day of beach combing. I ordered the beef enchiladas which were plentiful but on the dry side. Rice and beans were great. Parents split the combo enchiladas as it was enough food for the two of them to share. They also had brought us complimentary chips and salsa which was... More

Great ambiance. The dollars stapled to the walls was really cool. The food was good. Tamales were fresh made and tasty, salsa fresh chopped and with just a hit of heat. Guacamole was fresh and tasty, also with some heat. Fajitas also received good reviews. Lime shrimp was also enjoyed by one of our party. The key lime pie was... More

I visited here on vacation with my family. The service was good but the meals were average-tasting at best and VERY overpriced.

Solid food, nothing special, except for the queso! Fun patio with picnic tables - great for dining with families or friends.
