This is a small place in a strip mall. It is very inexpensive and the food is tasty. The mother who cooks and the son who serves are appreciative and attentive. You can eat a basic breakfast for $5.00. The simple Latin deserts are tasty and inexpensive.

I visited this restaurant when visiting a friend in Orlando. It was perfect! The food was cheap and the quality was the complete opposite. It was amazing and authentic. I recommend this place to anyone on a budget and looking for authentic Cuban food. The atmosphere was tight and a bunch of natural light came into the restaurant. Stop by... More

My husband and I make a point to stop at this restaurant every time that we come to town to visit my in-laws. They have a $5.99 lunch special that is amazing. You choose a meat that has been lovingly slow-cooked (usually beef, chicken, or pork), rice and beans (get the yellow rice!), plantains, and a drink. Sometimes they throw... More

Wifey & I stopped in, both ate TRIPLETA, & were full before we got halfway thru the sandwich. I drink a delicious natural guava drink! Good food, service, and prices!

I am so glad I stopped here. The owner is absolutely charming and has great pride in her food. Skip panders across the street and enjoy this unique experience.

Went there only once, but wow... The amount that you can get for a small amount rivals any mom and pop around. Not huge on ambience as it's bare bones, but it doesn't matter.

I love this place. It's a bakery that also serves breakfast and lunch. It's located in a tiny strip of shops on Michigan across from Boston Market. It reminds me of old-time America in that it's a small hole in the wall place, very unpretentious, very nice. The breakfast menu sounds good (and a friend swears by it), but I... More

Found this restaurant by accident. Owner makes everything. Although they speak English, I couldn't pronounce the dishes but I watched locals order BBQ chicken and pork dishes. The lunch special comes with either a meat, yellow or white rice, beans, plantains and a drink for $6.00. I had a shrimp dish that was delishious. It looked so good that he... More

On our family trip we were looking for an inexpensive restaurant that offered breakfast for the family. I came to this place and loved it. I went there 3 times during my stay , not only because of their food, but because they were very pleasant. We liked it very much.
