We ate at this restaurant at its prior location and enjoyed the food but the strip center was sketchy at best and we did not go back. We were happy to see it move to a better location. When it finally opened we gave it a try, the front of the house failed miserably. I do not think the staff... More

Went here today 12.17.16 on a colleague's recommendation. The place is small but clean, nice reggae music and nicely decorated. Nice place. I had the jerk pork and bread for an appetizer and that was on point. Spicy and flavourful. The meat was tender and that sauce hit the spot. My wife had oxtails with rice and peas and I... More

The old location across the street was better. Friendlier service and bigger portions. The food here is generally good, with curry goat being my favorite. Curry chicken and oxtails are decent. Unfortunately the portions are very inconsistent. Sometimes you get a nice amount of meat, and other times it's half the size of the previous visit, or too many bones,... More

We visited his new location in the Suncrest Publix shopping center. Unfortunately, he hasn't got it together yet. Few evenings ago, he had no diet drink, no Jamaican beer, no selection of red wine, no carribean macaroni, the appetizer, fish patties, red fish were all over cooked and almost uneatable. Sad, because we have eaten at his old restaurant for... More

Drove 40 minutes from Disney side of Orlando to the Eastside of the city. I was in Orlando for annual Florida Classic soccer tourney in Auburndale. Saw the reviews on tripadvisor last year but unable to get to the restaurant. Made the trek yesterday 1/19/2016 on the way to the Miami/Pembroke Pines area to visit family and friends. Pulled into... Well I had high hopes trying this place because the reviews mostly seemed good. The only Jamaican food I've ever had was from friends in their homes. I sat at the bar and the young lady seemed a little lost but nice. I ordered the appetizer version of the jerk chicken with bread. The Jerk Chicken was chopped in such... More

I love the food choices, particularly the fish dishes. Last year, I ordered jerk turkey for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was the most flavorful, moist turkey I'd ever eaten, but you must like spice.

Yes a bit of a whole in the wall type of place but do not let that fool you. Easily the best caribbean restaurant I've been to. If I ever go back to Orlando I will stop by again. Food came out in good time. We honestly spent more time deciding what to eat.

The Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork were fabulous. The food was beyond flavorful and filling. The service was good and efficient. From the parking lot it looks like a hole in the wall type of place, but don't let that fool ya. The food was exceptional and we had leftovers as well. You can take your food TO GO or... More

Mark, The Curry Goat was just as good this trip as it was the last trip. The rice and beans was cooked just right as usual and that Calaloo is wonderful. The plantains and cabbage is just the way I like it so it is always a nice touch and even though I can't have beer anymore, that Ginger Beer... More
