My wife and I both had Asian noodles with shrimp. It was ok but not great. Our cocktails were good and the bread was good. Would not return to this resturant.

This is my favorite restaurant in Disney World..We have been here 3 times in our week stay and have enjoyed all of our meals. Our favorite dish so far is the tuna poke, which we have ordered as a starter with every meal. The staff is awesome and will definitely visit here on subsequent visits.

First and foremost if you make a reservation for dinner here show up early. We were fifteen minutes later for our dinner reservation because the lot was full besides valet. We literally drove around this parking lot for half an hour trying to find an empty spot. After finding one we had then missed our reservation which caused another 20-30... More

What a great use of a dining credit. We went for breakfast before checking out of our resort. It was Thanksgiving day, so this was our Thanksgiving meal -- one we'll never forget. French press coffee ($9 value) and all other bevs were available for dining plan users. Because there's no dessert, you get an extra side. Tonga toast was... More

While staying at a Disney Resort, we wanted have dinner in a quiet setting and enjoy some sushi, thus selected Kona. Based on pics at the Disney site, expected restaurant to be quaint and quite, but learned on arrival this restaurant was more suited for large groups and children...nothing wrong with this environment but not what we were expecting/wanting this... The service was good. Husband ordered the French Press coffee and LOVED it. I had the Big Kahuna which was way too much food for 1 person. The pancakes and sausage were my favorite. Wish I would have just gotten the pancake plate. Husband had the Samoan. Husband said it was good but onions could have been cooked a bit... More

Okay. Let me start out by saying that the food was amazing. Moca Loca was awesome. Now, the problem lay in the fact that we were asked how we wanted our meat. When we received them, the meat was all well done. We were told that the kitchen didn't cook the mean to order. Why ask us of the kitchen... More

Dinner on a Friday night, reserved in advance and immediately seated. Nice menu, portion size nice, the sushi was delicious. The setting is quite nice, even though it's pretty informal and right alongside the upstairs lobby of the Polynesian.

Got here early to start our day. Parking nearby at the transportation center and then a quick walk or monorail to the Polynesian Resort where this restaurant is located. Have eaten other meals here before but breakfast is our favorite. Excellent food and service, and a prime location from which to start your day at Disney

Three of us went for lunch; with quite a few empty tables, it appeared we were some of the final lunch customers before they shut until dinner. Even so, the service was pleasant but really slow. They have almost no vegetarian options so I opted for the only vegetarians sushi option. It was average. My companions opted for appetizers since... More

Description
The Kona Cafe infuses a bit of Asian zest into traditional American breakfast, lunch and dinner fare in Disney's Polynesian Resort. Indulge in the scrumptious cinnamon and banana-stuffed Tonga Toast or choose from a variety of more savory breakfast options like a variety of egg dishes and pineapple macadamia nut pancakes. At midday, satisfy your hunger with an Island chicken sandwich and housemade sweet potato chips, shrimp and scallops, or other tasty entrees. Dine in the evening on delicacies such as a selection of fresh fish, grilled ginger-crusted ribeye steak or coconut almond chicken. As you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this Polynesian restaurant, feast your eyes across the onstage open pastry kitchen that prepares divine desserts. Kona Cafe offers authentic Kona coffee as a perfect pairing to these pastries, or as a rich addition to any meal.
