I visited this restaurant with my wife for the first time on Sunday October 1, 2017. It was an anniversary gift from our son. We had to wait about 45-50 minutes because they had a lot of reservations. Typically we do not like to wait...More

Santiagos offers a creative menu with LOTS of options. The flavors are complex and delightful! The location is excellent and the outdoor area is the funnest part of the location! Always lively and fun - especially during happy hour!

My title tells it all. Every morsel we tasted was unbelievably delicious. We tried four different tapas as well as dessert and coffee. We tasted two from the specials menu and two from the regular menu as well as soup. We even had the opportunity...More

At first I was disappointed that it was tapas because I was very hungry, but every dish was great and I got full after tasting multiple dishes. Our favorites were the Paptatas Bravas the beef short ribs, Saganaki ( a pita bread with haloumi cheese...More

Our waiter was very helpful and knew what to recommend. We ordered Tapas, and the awesome Sangria... there were 3 of us in the group and each order a different sangria and each of us tasted them...and it was so good! The place is clean...More

I've been to Santiago's a few times and I really don't understand why some people love this place. The only thing I can figure is people are drawn to the very nice/large outdoor area featuring tables with umbrellas - which is nice - but the...More

Although it may sound weird for some people my husband and I have to habit to go to the theater, ballet, or show and have dinner after (instead of before as most Americans do). After many years having problems to find a good place to...More

This location is every bit as good as the original in Key West. Valet parking took a while but that's my only complaint. Tried the tenderloin in blue cheese sauce, chicken kabobs, cheese plate and the carpaccio. Oh man, the carpaccio just melted in my...More

Description
Santiago's Bodega presents a unique tasting experience featuring small plates that hopscotch between decadent (a warm Camembert wedge topped with sauteed garlic, onions, almonds, apricots, chopped dates, bell peppers), refreshing (yellow fin tuna, avocado, mango ceviche), exotic (lamb patties with fresh thyme, sherry, lemon zest) and just plain comfort-food-delicious (Roman meatballs on angel hair, or fried potatoes in a spicy sauce). As nothing costs over $15, there’s no major commitment, and if the relationship doesn't work, move along to the next selection. The menu’s ideal for sharing and for mixing up in endless combinations. Alternate between chevre tartlet, spanakopita, or smoked salmon carpaccio. Invent your own meal. Dining in such a way permits the rules of wine pairings to step aside like snooty impostors, and what goes best with dinner is exactly what tempts you. Santiago’s Bodega is a good-natured, low-key, food-lovers hangout, a neighborhood restaurant. - Margit Bisztray
